DEWALTMen's Heated Soft Shell Jacket Kit Black X-Large

Good jacket. I bought it to use for work and it’s nice and warm. When the temperature is down around 30°f I typically run it on high or medium and I stay nice and toasty. The battery and adapter is kinda bulky but it’s not a dealbreaker. I only get about 4-5 hours off a battery on high so i would recommend getting an another 1 or 2 batteries if you don’t have spares to be able to go all day. 9/10 would recommend

Overall: I really like this jacket, and fully recommend it for working and playing outdoors during the winter months. Also great for power outages too!Likes:1. It’s a Dewalt!2. The lower internal pocket for the battery pack sags from the weight. I believe this can be improved with a more robust material with straps to secure the pack.2. No dust/water protective caps to protect the ends of the power/charging cables when being washed. Would love to see some improvements here as well.

8° F this morning with-10 wind chill and the jacket worked great

Ordered it. After 2 days the jacket would shut off on its own after about 5 minutes. Battery was fully charged. It was connected. Tried to both locations. Didn't work. Requested replacement. That had the same problem after about 4 days. Returned it. Bought a Milwaukee one which works fabulous and without problems (and my husband is a dewalt fanatic so it was very hard for him to wear a Milwaukee lol). Another plus of the Milwaukee is that the battery is a lot smaller, lighter and less bulky

This was really warm but is so short that it made it uncomfortable to wear. The seller was great in offering a return but dewalt should make it longer in the torso.

No matter what heated jacket you get, the battery will be cumbersome in one way or another. With that said, this jacket delivers everything I need for a professional experience as an HVAC service technician. I love in Michigan and typically, during winter, every house I walk in is cold, as I am there to fix their furnace. I haven’t had to experience too much rain while wearing the jacket so I can’t attest to how waterproof it is. The heating elements are placed in very good spots, this jacket even features heating in the upper arp near your triceps (which my jacket two years ago did not) Also, last but not least, the style of the jacket, I believe no hood gives more of a professional appearance. The all black soft shell is a very sleek design and isn’t very “showy”. It gives off the impression that “I’m here to work, not to be pretty.”

No issues every thing works

I wanted to like this product. I have many Dewalt 20v. power tools and thought that it would be good to be able to use the batteries in a heated jacket. Unfortunately, the quality of Dewalt tools does not transfer to their heated clothing line. The jacket was stiff and uncomfortable; it did not fit well. The fleece did not seem to be very good quality. The Dewalt battery could not be plugged into the jacket directly, but had to be plugged into an adapter, which made it even bulkier and lumpier to carry. The adapter is also something else to go wrong. I ended up getting an Arris heated vest instead (for far less money), and would HIGHLY recommend that product.

Battery pack heavy and awkward spot to store it in the jacket. Jacket has three heat settings however the hottest setting could be hotter and it automatically moves so medium heat after some time has passed, so you keep having to set it back to hot. For the money, not worth this brand.
