Perfect companion for phones without a Headphone jack
So you just got your new expensive phone but it doesn't have a headphone jack?No problem this little nifty device got you covered. Also if you already have a earphone and don't want to purchase a bluetooth earphone/headphone then this is a perfect device.Pros -1. Build quality - It's made of metal and the size is also small to fit inside pockets.2. Supports aptX LL - By using this tech there is no lag in sound while playing PUBG/CODM. Yay!3. USB Dac - You can use it as a sound card for your laptop. My laptop's 3.5mm jack stopped functioning and Now i just use this for a better quality audio.4. It's a future investment - If you purchase a better headphone/earphone then you can be assured that this little baby will be able to power it up.5. It's USB C - Yay! one less cable to carry around. Also it has NFC to quickly pair with a new device.6. Sound quality - Almost forgot about this one. Yes it has good sound quality. You'll be able to hear a more detailed audio.Cons -1. I am just nitpicking but the battery life could be improved even further.2. Is a bit pricey but compared to the prices of good bluetooth earphones it's cheaper to get this and use your old earphones. So in conclusion add it to your wishlist and when there is a discount just buy this little boi.

Surprising Tiny
Somehow I expected it to be the size of a finger and at least 2 fingers wide, it was surprisingly small, like a medium-sized Staedler eraser. Quite light-weight too. After a day of usage, here are my experiential notes:1) Connected with Asus and One Plus phones and Lenovo laptop quickly enough. Twice it had a small glitch - on the very first connection with the One Plus and laptop, the audio was barely audible (with full volume on the devices as well as the BTR1K). After manually disconnecting and connecting again, the volume came back to normal. Not sure what happened, but it seemed to have happened only on the very first connection with the phone/laptop. Hope this does not happen again.2) It connects nicely with the aptX connection. Both the laptop and the phone show the charge available in BTR1K, which is awesome.3) Sound quality is great, though I have only tried it with my collection on SoundCloud. When connected with a laptop via USB, I was able to use it as an external sound cloud, which was awesome too. Whether through bluetooth or a USB connection, the BTR1K appears both as a sound output (speaker) and sound input (microphone) device). I think I am going to find it quite useful for my tele-conferences!4) Its a tiny device, and I don't see it being able to drive my current Senn HD600 so well (they sound somewhat muted). Though I haven't tried it yet, I am sure ATH M50X will be easy to drive for this.5) It has ZERO screws, which is nice aesthetically, but I would have liked to see some, to be satisfied I have access to the built-in battery when I need to change it (if I find a spare for that, that is).6) It has a clip at the back, which works well on shirts. But the gap in the clip is just about an inch, so it doesn't hold on to the wider Senn HD600 metal band, and keeps slipping out. I would have liked it to be fixed on my headphone, rather than hang on my shirt, just makes the headphone extremely portable, and perhaps make it look like a geeky contraption too!Its a pretty little device, and quite functional too. Even though I got it for a discount, I don't think it still justifies the price. I guess the manufacturer has to make some money in trend of newer phones removing 3.5mm jacks. All in all, a good product and worth buying, if you have a good pair of wired headphones and want to make them compatible with newer phones.

Best Bluetooth/USB sound adapter review
Just go for it if you are looking at bluetooth headset for upto INR 15k. No competition here!!!! This Smokes them all!Battery - upto 6 hours, tested!Audio quality - depends on the headphone you use! This is just an amplifier for Bluetooth/USB.Amazing with any phone that have Snapdragon 600 series and above chip (average with Kirin and Mediatek). Using as a USB DAC, it sounds much better than motherboard built in Realtek audio.I use this with the cheapo JBL C100SI (which is much better than Sen CX180).Compared to Skullcandy Indy TW vs AirPods vs Sennheiser CX 6.00BT/7.00BT vs Skullcandy Method Wireless, the BTR1K smokes them all.If you are an iPhone user (tested on iP XS), get the AirPod instead, Apple cripples intentionally to ensure people stick to Apple products. All the mentioned above sucks on Apple, except for the AirPods - volume, audio quality: Fidelity, bass, mids & treble.Note: This device "forced" increased soundstage (eg., in Android music player, there is an option among equalizer to increase stereo/3D expansion) because of which there is a slight increase in treble harshness and decrease in fidelity (the solidness/crispiness/clarity whatever you called). But this happens only if you play low quality files - like those super compressed ones, or YouTube converted ones. If you play proper CD ripped files - 192/224/320 Kbps 41KHz etc., it's amazing, no degradation in audio quality. Also, once you tweaked in equalizer to you liking, this things is simply amazing, nothing came close in this price range, just get it!
