HAHAHAHA! These are definitely baby proof, they are also adult proof! Maybe my finger nails are too short or maybe my fingers are too weak to manipulate the tab on these to release the pull tab necessary to extricate these from the outlet. Whatever the reason, I, as an adult, struggle to get these out of the outlet. So, I completely appreciate their effectiveness protecting my grandchildren, but I find it a tad bit frustrating removing these when I need to use a protected outlet. Fortunately, the product is sturdy and I have yet to break one attempting to remove it from an outlet. I might be the problem, so I’ll give the product the benefit of the doubt. If , I could, I would rate it as 4 and 3/4 stars.

These are functional, good value for price and easy to use.

These are the best baby outlet covers I've used. They have a bottom part that you have to slide down, then pull out. Sliding it down is quite difficult - I can barely do it, so I doubt a baby/toddler would be able to (although some of those little buggers can do things adults can't, for sure!) What I really like about these, over the other ones I've used, is that you can leave the bottom part open (down), thus making it easier for ME to open while still covering the outlet. So it takes away the curiosity of the child to stick their fingers in the outlet, but I can remove it without breaking my (sadly brittle and/or nonexistent) nails. This gives me the very convenient option of making the outlets I never use completely impossible to access, while leaving the ones I often use covered but possible to open. For this reason, these are now my absolute favorite outlet covers ever. The quality is good and they seem durable as well. They also arrived more quickly than I had expected, which was nice.

These do the job! My toddler can't remove them, and they look nice in our home. It's also nice to have lots of extras just in case we lose them. The only issue I have with the product is that the little handle is difficult to pull down to remove from the electrical outlet. My husband can slide the latch down and pull out the outlet cover, but I'm not able to without some real force.

Perfect. And the tab makes removal super easy. The square is big enough to hide the outlet entirely, which works amazing for me because my outlets are not the same color as the covers. I was looking for a way to keep the dust out and hide the fact that they put tan outlets throughout the house. I don’t have kids, so if you’re looking for child proofing all I can say is they aren’t super easy to remove from tthe wall. You have to wiggle it with the tab out. But the tab is something I could see a child being capable of breaking, so there’s that.

I thought about giving it one star, but then remembered the purpose was to keep the babies out. You literally cannot these back out of the outlet… (I got them to stop the cold air coming out of the wall, which it worked for this too) it’s just hard to pop the latch down. Value for money

Easy to install and in theory easy to remove. Not so my friend. The ridges make it easy to pull the tab down but the thin plastic, tiny handle and tight fit make it harder than it needs to be when I try to remove them from the outlet. It definitely the product since it’s like that on every outlet.

These are a great value, considering just how many you receive in the package! We did our whole 3BR apartment and still have plenty left over. These are very simple to install and look great (not weirdly shiny or a strange color that makes them an eyesore). When it comes to removing them, sometimes they are a bit difficult. I have found pushing in and down with my thumb works best to pull the remover part out. This piece makes removing the outlet covers a breeze! Sometimes we cannot get the little hinge to slide down, and just pull it out of the socket like an old fashioned cover, which of course is annoying, but I think it's just a learning curve. Overall, we love these and would buy them again and even recommend them to a friend.

These serve the purpose of blocking the outlet from little hands, but the pull down handle to remove the plug is nearly impossible to slide down when in a socket. You need two fingers to pull it down but that’s not possible when it’s in the socket.
