This no glue kit is an upgrade from regular piping.
This nicely packaged kit is made in Mexico, and complete with all parts you will need for most installations. I often try to buy Made in USA items, so I was surprised at the high build quality of this kit. For some time now, Leviton electrical connectors have been made in Mexico, and it seems like the high end injection molding technology is being put to other uses. (Purely my educated guess!) My installation went together easily, and had no leaks. The "Y" portion of the kit is designed with an internal partition which helps keep one sink from back draining into the other. Again, nicely made ! The drain hoses are not as flexible as the product photo would lead you to believe. They are, however, very strong. They are also smooth walled so food particles will not collect inside. More thorough instructions could have been provided on how to shorten the drain tubes. The video on youtube was a big help - just that it left out a measurement for how far the cut tube inserts into the connector. Also, disassembling the tubing to shorten it requires strong hands ! I'm a big guy and I found it challenging. Good thing not every installation will require this. The tubes are well assembled from the factory. Another detail left out was how to adapt my 5/8" dishwasher to the nice big 7/8" connector on the Snappy Trap. I used a brass 5/8" double male hose barb, and a BrassCraft Model # BC0475 Rubber Dishwasher Branch Connector, which came complete with clamps. Perfect fit, no leaks - first try ! I even gained more usable space under the sink, as a result of relocating the drain pipes. Seems worth the extra money to me. No glue, means no fumes, plus ease of service in the future. Be sue you follow the recommendations for vertical clearance. Bottom of trap pipe to center line of wall pipe 4" or more recommended.

Great drain kit. The only one I use.
I have used several of these drain kits in my house. Easy to install and freed up space under the sinks. No leaks or issues after several years of use.

Not for the faint of heart, but it works
The instructional videos deceptively make this look easy -- which it would be if you could stand in front of your under-sink plumbing the way they do in the videos. It would take less than 10 minutes to install. But when you get down on your hands and knees and lean forward to reach under the sink, you lose all the leverage you need to cut pipe, tighten clamps, and generally wrestle this thing into place. There are also videos that will show you how to cut the flexible tubing, and you should assume you will have to do that, because few sinks will have that much space in the cabinet underneath. By making the flexible segments long enough that one-size-fits-all, they have a product where one-size-fits-none. However, after a lot of struggle it does install and the flex in the system does a decent job of dealing with movement of the sinks (the drain hangs lower when the sink is full of water) and vibration from a garbage disposal, without the seals coming loose.

Take your time and think the placement out. It works exceptionally well.
It worked great for my application. Everything drew up tight and no leaks whatsoever. I did end up reusing a few pieces from the old set up; I think it was just a few nuts. The reviews are right, the tubes aren’t super flexible but they aren’t impossible by any means. There are some videos online showing a few different configurations you can use to get it all to fit. I don’t have a “before” picture. I m a little ashamed about the rigged set up I had going on. I’m very satisfied with this product.

Great product, saved me a ton of money and time!
I am impressed with this product. I had a very unique situation going on in my vacation rental, and I never call a plumber, or anyone really, unless I cannot figure it out. I had a very high wall drain, with a long drain pipe coming out of the wall, with a Marvel adapter. There was no configuration I could get to work with the PVC crap pieces. It would always result in a slow drip. I tried everything over the course of 2 years and none of the PVC would do the trick. It was a combination of terrible plumbing, and lazy remodeling. I stumbled on this item while researching alternatives to ripping out the back of the cabinet, and cutting the pipe way down and redoing all the plumbing under the kitchen double sink. So I saw this contraption for $25 and thought that it might work for me... I get the item, unbox it, read the directions, and right away am very clear on what needs to happen. These people really put this item together well. It's like a choose your own adventure of plumbing. Is your sink drain this much higher than the drain? If so choose step 7, if not choose step 2... Very well thought out, and covers a wide range of possible scenarios. I had one which was not listed in the instructions, so I improvised a little. As I mentioned, my wall drain pipe was very long, and extended about 10" out of the wall, which made it impossible to fix with PVC, like I said. I SOMEHOW got this drain kit to loop to opposite sides, and made it JUST work... It was amazing, and was a really solid connection. The pipes go to opposite sinks, but it works, and there are no leaks. I even banged it up a little to test it out. Very solid drain kit. I feel confident that it will last for a long time. All in all, this is a product I was happy to use. It was a quality item, made from sturdy material, with very clear and logical instructions, and quick shipping. I ended up hook up two extra deep sinks with a dishwasher on it, to a high wall drain that sticks out way too far. I had my doubts that it would work, and thought I would need to rip our my cabinets and wall to fix the drain... but it somehow worked. I am going to replace all of the plumbing under all of my sinks in my units with this. Add a water sensor under the cabinet for extra assurance, and forget about leaks forever.

Good Quality Product That Falls Short of Its Original Premise
No doubt this is a pretty well made product. I was impressed with the fit and finish of the piping and fittings. However, that impression ceased to exist once I started putting it together under my kitchen sink. The fact that you cannot trim the flexible hose down to any length hampers your abilty to use this in any plumbing situation that is not considered idea in the real world. The second you try to manipulate the hose to far, the fittings pop a part. I tried, as the instructions dictated, to turn the hosing assembly around, or move the P trap back. But to no avail, it did not work, and much to my dismay, I ended up making a trip to Lowes (anyway). I ended up using everything that came in the kit with the exception of the flexible hose assembly. So that was disappointing. Pros: Built well, and the inside of the flex hose is smooth, and it appears that this assembly can take some abuse. Instructions were laid out pretty good, and were as clear and concise as you would hope. Cons: The flexible hose assembly is not adjustable, and cannot be trimmed down which eliminates about 60-80% of real world situations that you find under a common kitchen sink Summary: Overall it is a good product, but unfortunately without the ability to shorten the hose, or adjust it in any way, it narrows its practical use for most DIYers.

Love the design, price and quality! Highly recommend!
I was extremely impressed with my purchase of the Snappy Trap 1-1/2" DRAIN kit for Double Kitchen Sinks. First off, the packaging was impressive as everything is kept together in a plastic bag sealed by Coflex at their factory. This prevents loss of small parts like the leak prevention collars and pipe caps. Second, the quality of the parts seemed top notch. An example of this are those leak prevention collars which are used to prevent leaks around the caps. If you've bought any under sink pipe kits, you know these are usually a weak link as they often slip when screwing the pipe collars down. This is because these leak prevention collars are usually made of something like teflon and as a result, they're usually very stiff and unforgiving. Snappy Trap's leak prevention collars are made of a more flexible, orange, rubber-like material which is much more reliable. In fact, I'd pay to buy a pack of these if they would sell them separately. Lastly the design of the Snappy Trap is outstanding! I have a weird outgoing pipe angle which sits just below our waste disposal, so the original plastic PVC piping was almost comical in nature. But the Snappy Trap's extremely flexible design meant I was able to have the waste disposal portion of the Snappy Trap essentially almost wrap back on itself. This helped me finish the install in under 20 minutes. The design also allows for bends with less "connective" elements normally required in PVC kits, which often leads to more potential leak points. All in all, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and I will always look to Coflex for my under sink piping needs from now on!

We just gave up--on them and the product.
This never worked for us. We contacted the company many times, email and calls, and they would tell us that yes--do it this way, do it that way--even emailed me diagrams. We never did get it to work and it went in the garbage. Our biggest hurdle is that it is NOT that flexible...and you have to really pull and stretch on the "flexible" parts to get it to bend. We have an offset drain hole in the floor of the cabinet under the sink--that's why we thought this would be our solution without bends/turns with pvc, but when you bend it over, it puts added pressure on the connection to the sink drain, and then that leaks. Also the flexible "arms" aren't long enough if you have any sort of offset. Your drain better be mid-center of your cabinet in the floor or in the wall behind the drain plumbing. It if is offset, there is no way it will work. It was just a lot more trouble than it was worth--and definitely not worth the money--by no means worth the money! I would like to add they are very nice to deal with--but they will swear over and over to you on the phone and emails that it will work--and it's your fault, you are just not doing it right. I also expect if they read this review they will contact me immediately--they seem to get their feelings hurt easily. I have one email from them that really teed me off because I emailed them with a question, telling them I was missing a part--they were chastising and condescending, and began the litany of "it will work you aren't doing it right".

Easiest plumbing job ever
I used to hate everything related to plumbing. I tried to do it all by myself and buying all the pieces. I always had to go back to the store because 1 piece was not the right size and don't get me started on the leaking issues. My life changed when I bought this product, it took me 10 minutes to install. No leaks, easy breezy. Best purchase I made in a long time! Would recommend to anybody, worth the price!!

easy to install
Great product, no glue required, and only takes a few minutes to install, although the pipes are a bit stiff. You can try different combinations to suit your scenario.
