Marcy Competitor Adjustable Olympic Weight Bench with Leg Developer CB-729

I originally got this machine with missing components in the box which caused me to give it one star. Amazon's Customer Service was so awesome that when I told them of what happened, they sent me a whole new package and didn't charge me a dime.The second time around things worked out great. All the parts were included and I put the whole thing together in about an hour or so.I am now very happy with this purchase. This is a very solid well made piece of equipment. Cast iron parts are heavy and sturdy. Assembly was really super easy and that's always a big plus.The bench adjusts from flat to incline to decline. Decline feels a little flat (I like deep decline) but for the money its still a solid layout. You can hit various muscle groups with this 4 position setup. It feels very solid. Doesn't shake or move even when benching with 150 lb or more. The pad is very thin though and looks to be made of cheap plywood so that's a con. Another con is that the horizontal weight stabilizer bars are positioned a little too close to the head end of the bench.When lying down, watch your head carefully, if you do not bend it slightly down you WILL hit your noggin. It was obviously made with someone in the shorter category in mind because my g/f who is 5'9 also works out with me and doesn't have this issue. But alas you can't have everything, right?Overall I'm very pleased with this machine, especially for the money. The addition of the vertical bar exerciser is great as you can do back rows and leg lifts which adds several exercises to any routine. 5 stars despite the cheap seat.Also I will again say this, Amazon Customer Service is incredible and I thank them too for their commitment to the customer.

Got it yesterday and set it up in an hour. It looks good and for the performance it gives you when lifting its awesome. All screws and pieces were included and easy to put together. The manual was accurate as long as you know which screw and piece go together. It was wobbly at first after it was all set up, but the reason was that it needed extra washes into the screws to make it tighter because the screws are long. I solved that issue by buying more washes and now the bench is solid and doesn't move when lifting. Overall, great bench for the price can't beat it. The con's is that the screws are long when putting the stand together but that can be fixed. The pro's I love how the seat is adjustable to work out ur shoulders, chest muscles and biceps while seating upright supporting your back. Awesome deal, recommend for those who love to work out like me.

Just to add this is my first bench but I would say that it seems good for someone who is just starting out, especially if they happen to be on the heavier side like myself. It took maybe two hours to put together and it did require someone else's help however I think once I had the frame together it could have been done alone. Overall the bench feels sturdy, and I was able to perform my presses quite well.As a note you can possibly Squat from this bench if the rack is extended to the full height. For me at around 5'10" it comes up to my chest but someone who is shorter it would be even easier. Other than wishing I had another height notch to add or even better the ability to have the rack turned to the back I'd say it's a good bench. Easy to move but expect to require a decent sized space before you purchase it.Just to add though while it says on the item page that it's a 600 lb capacity weight bench, the manual will say it's a 300 lb user weight limit. I myself weigh more than this but if you're big like me I think it should work out fine.Edit as of 03/13: Alright! Well the bench is still as good as ever, especially with me losing a lot of weight between lifting and changing my eating habits. However there is one thing that is very detrimental. It's difficult to try and squat using this, for some obvious reasons. The direction the rack poles are facing can make getting the bar on and off awkward, and the pole design itself is incredibly flimsy looking, tilting noticeably when loaded up to 185lbs. Worst of all is that for someone of my height, 5'10", it just doesn't feel safe trying to squat since you have to half-squat just to get under the bar.Final Verdict: Good for everything you need to do EXCEPT squatting.

I was previously using a standard weight bench with a flat position, and two different increased incline positions with not enough room between the posts to place the hands except in one area on the bar. This bench has more than enough room to place your hands on various places on the bar as well as 3 varying incline positions for benching. I've seen a lot of people complaining that this has no "flat" position, who cares. The decline position is great for building up your back, the slight incline which would have normally been flat is great for biceps and triceps, and the 3rd incline is positioned great for pecs. The 4th incline is there for a back rest while using the leg section of the machine. This bench is easy to assemble and is good quality. Worth the money, I'd buy it again but I think it'll last as long as I need it.

Llevo más de un mes con el banco y me ha servido muy bien, es bueno para hacer múltiples ejercicios, los materiales se ven resistentes y cómodos.Fue relativamente fácil de armar porque viene con todos los tornillos y enumerados así que en el instructivo puedes saber cuál va en donde.Me ha servido mucho.

This bench was easy to assemble and is really stable. This bench exceeded my expectations and the leg exercise attachment works with 1" or 2" weight plates due to the supplied adaptor. After 2 weeks of working out on it, I feel like this will last a lifetime.

Bought this for my home gym. It's a great bit of kit. Perfect for my needs.

Easy to put together, it’s easier with 2 people but doable on your own. It’s sturdy and good quality for a good price.
