The look of it

I love the mailbox. However, it needs to be able to be secured from the bottom as well. It swings back and forth on my new siding and it shouldn't do that.

This postal box is stylistically perfect for our old house. While the mounting criticisms are correct, I solved the install with two screws with fender washers under the box that along with the top center screw, hold the box steady and firm to the shingles. With a touch of house paint on the hardware, the install looks like it’s been there for at least a century.

Post box is beautiful and lends a rustic flair to our front porch, which is what we were looking for. Our only problem with it was it did not come with any hardware, but My husband used an old screw to hang it. We found the box was not stable on the wall, so we drilled and added a small screw to the bottom of the box. It looks just perfect! Without the bottom screws, the box moves when you open it.

Absolutely love the look! It’s a little hard to get the mail out with one hand, but we love it.

The mailbox holds one day of mail. Not big enough if you dont collect for a few days. Back isnt sealed very well so rain leaks in through back of lid and pools in bottom. Mail gets soaked if its raining.

This is AMAZING! Beautiful, sturdy, easy to install, and easy to open and close to put the mail in, it holds a lot! It is a stunning piece.
