Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition (PS4)

A bit longer then the first one but the added side missions provide a longer game experience

I really enjoyed Darksiders 1 & 2 on the PS3, and Darksiders 2 on the PS4 is a lot better. It's more polished, more RPG feel to it, armour and weapon upgrades and sets nice skill point system. The graphics are pretty nice (albeit not the best out there but they do stand up and they are an improvement on the PS3). The musical score is quite atmospheric. My only criticism is the combat, the doge mechanisms is pretty bad, dodging into combat instead of out, the combat gets so frenzied that its impossible at times to see what is going on and just becomes a huge button mashing exercise. I felt Darksiders 1 was a little more smooth with dodging (from memory..!).Anyway all in all it's really a fantastic game, highly enjoyable, Death is awesome, love the character and his devotion to his brother War. Story is great love this whole type of thing, and it's really fun to play and for me was a decent challenge. Definitely worth getting.

Nordic Games You Beauty. The package is amazing and the gameplay is much smooth than the last time it was for PS3. Great Loot System and the love for hack and slash increased even more after buying this sexy package. An Amazing Open world game with amazing environments like Hell, Heaven & Earth and an outstanding countdown to take down the Apocalypse. Death, The most feared of the legendary four horsemen comes to takedown Corruption and restore humanity and save his brother War. Best Game. Best Environment. Great Moves and worth all the Season pass Content in one disc. Must buy. Let the Games Begin :D

this quite frankly is my favourite game from the last generation of consols and is once again my favorite game on the new generation and is definitely worthy of a 5* review.the enjoy ability and pick up and play factor has been maintained and the redistribution of the former dlc content has arguably improved the balance of the gameplay the new hd graphics are a significant improvementdespite this i still encountered a number of minor rendering issues in the new hd graphics and a small number of glitches that forced me to reset to the previous save point... both a little annoying but nothing serious.please enjoy

Bought this cos I first played it on My Xbox that I don't use anymore hence why I bought it on PlayStation 4. First things first it's a great game none-the-less, just a few problems with it. 1) even though impoved with the stupid amount freezes and glitches that the original game had, this Deathinitive (as they call it) Edition still has glitches and sometimes the game crashes and force closes itself then, up pops an error message stating that there's basically been an unknown error that's occurred which means I have to press okay then restart the application again and for a remake for this game that's pretty bad. It does give you all the DLC's with it though and runs smoothly most of the time, I just expected better from a remake of this game. Please fix when possible for 5 stars! 👍

Graphics are much better and the loot system is intelligently distributed this time around. Fun gameplay and great anti-hero, along with many beautiful worlds to see and do stuff at. Also, music, omg one of the main reasons I bought it.
