Buy for everyone you know
Buy this pot for everyone you know! Buy it for a secret Santa exchange. Everyone NEEDS this pot! I searched for years for an affordable version of a pot like this with a pouring lip and a lid that has two sized straining holes. This is perfect! The non stick inside makes it so easy to clean, and you can stick it in the dishwasher. The straining lid makes less dishes (no colander!). It's so easy to use, the lid doesn't get too hot when you have to drain water or grease. This is perfect for you or for a gift for those hard to shop for MILs!

good!
Works well, I've used it for over a year now, no problems. Not scratch resistant but that's okay for me. Big enough for a box of pasta. The drainage holes on the side are super helpful.

Nice pot. Perfect size.
I like it. a 2 quart pot is a bit too small, a 3 quart is the perfect size. Farberware makes good pots.

Excellent, perfect strainer pan for pasta
This is a no stick strainer pan with pour spouts on both sides. I use this for: - Pasta of course, spaghetti, angel hair, ravioli, gnocchi, any other pasta - I cook sauces in here and take the lid off and pour them out of the pan without it dripping down the sides of the pan - I cook sugar solutions in this pan and pour it into a mixing bowl while hot when making marshmallows or other candy products; Iโve also used honey and pure maple syrup as alternatives; these work well too. The pour spouts on the side of the pan keep sticky viscous liquid from spilling down the sides of the pan. It is important to be very careful with hot sugar solutions because they are very hot (mine are about 245 degrees F) and they are sticky. They can result in very bad burns when spilled. This pan makes it easier for me to control the pour and not spill. - I boil eggs in the pan and use the strainer to pour the boiling water out, then take the lid off and add cool water in the sink The size is good. It is not a huge pan so it is not too heavy, and it is easy to control when pouring/straining. Iโve used it 30 to 40 times now, and so far the non-stick coating is holding up well and making cleanup easy.

Not For Cooking Rice
Solid saucepot with excellent non-stick performance. A bit narrower in diameter than the pot it replaced, but I got used to it. The only drawback for me is it in NOT suited for cooking rice or other foods that require a "tight fitting lid". The pot has two small poring spouts and a lid with corresponding drain holes for pouring off liquids. This does not lend itself to capturing steam required for cooking rice. Roughly halfway through the cooking time most of the water has boiled off and if not caught in time will obviously burn the rice. Other than that, I have no complaints.

So great I bought twice
I had this pot for years before it was ruined by user error. So I bought it again, because it's everything I want in a pot.

Buy Farberware pots and pans and you will have them for a lifetime!
Farberware brand has been synonymous in our family for as long as I can remember. My mother had Farberware, my sister and I have Farberware and our children will ALL have Farberware products in their households. I even snagged all my motherโs Farberware pots when she passed away and still use them to this day. I just bought my grandson's wife her first set of Farberware pots and pans for Christmas. She called me immediately when she opened the huge box I sent to her in Canada and she couldn't stop screaming with delight over her new pots and pans because of the quality, the shape of the handle, and the ease of cooking with them. Yes, she had already started cooking in them when she called me. I bought her a starter set - one 0.625 quarts, Stainless Steel Butter Warmer/Small Saucepan, two 1-quart, two 2-quart, two 3-quart Non-stick Pan/with lid, one 16-quart stock pot/with lid, one Glide Deep Nonstick Frying Pan-12.5 inch, and one Glide Ceramic Nonstick Saute Pan with lid and Helper Handle 4-quart. I know what all of you are thinking right now โ that this was an expensive purchase on my part. However, when you have a growing family of five and you want to have the best tools/pots to make the best meals for a lifetime โ you buy Farberware. Iโm 69 years old and through the years Iโve tried a lot of different brands. Iโve thrown away all the inferior pots and pans (or sold them for pennies on the dollar in garage sales) that advertisers have said were better. I now have nothing but Farberware in my kitchen cabinets for superior-quality cooking and ease of cleanup. So, if you want a โwork-horseโ set of pots and pans that will stand the test of time โ buy Farberware โ I highly recommend them. - enough said!
