Mermaid Maternity Women's Maternity Swim Skirt with Attached Boyshort

I'm due in late August, so I needed a maternity swim suit for the end of my 2nd trimester all the way through the 3rd. I'm 33 weeks now, and so far this is perfect. This is the only skirt that I found that has shorts underneath instead of briefs. This was huge for me because I'm not shaving my bikini line as often. I can't even see my bikini line at this point. 😆 We have a boat and take it out weekly and this suit has held up through many washes and hasn't faded or lost elasticity. Full panel on the belly. Super comfortable. (For reference, my pregnancy weight is listed)

The fabric and construction of this swimsuit bottom is extremely high quality--I could tell that from the moment I opened the package. I ordered these in a large, since my hips measured within the range for that size even though normally I wear an 8 or a 10 bottom. I was a little worried when I realized how not snug they were (as we know, most women's swimsuits are pretty tight regardless of the style). After wearing them in the pool, they didn't shift and the over-the-belly waist didn't slide down at all, so the fact that they are a little big wasn't an issue after all. I have most of the rest of the summer to go in this pregnancy, and I am confident that they'll be just as comfy in August as they are now--I could wear them all day. Definitely worth the price!

This skirt is awesome. It has shorts under it and it is longer than I expected which is great for my thick thighs. It comes up over the belly like the maternity pants. I wear between an 18-20 when not pregnant and bought a 20 and it fits perfect. The material feels like any swim material. I am really pleased.

I love love love this bathing suit. I have always had trouble finding bathing suits that fit me right and were flattering. So now that I am pregnant it has been even harder to find a suit that fit me right and didn't make me look like a whale. I stumbled across this suit and read the other reviews and decided to give it a try. It arrived a day earlier than expected and I absolutely love the way it fits. I am only a few months a long so for now I have to fold over the panel so it fits right but I expect as my belly grows it will continue to fit perfectly. I love the boyshorts underneath the skirt it hides all my problem areas and is very flattering. I definitely plan on buying another one so I have 2 suits for the summer. This suit is worth every penny!!

Fabric started to break down after the first two times I wore it. I don’t dry my swimsuits and I wash with mild free and clear detergent if needed. Fit is perfect but because of the fabric I only gave it 4 stars.

I like how this swimsuit bottom fits. I really appreciate the full belly panel. It's stretchy and comfortable. I'm 28 weeks pregnant and have been using this for about 2 months now and I am confident I will be able to wear it the entire pregnancy.However, it is not the most slimming or flattering. I don't expect my maternity swimsuit to be sexy or make me feel skinny. If you are looking for something relatively conservative and "safe" then this is a good choice.

Purchased at 7 months pregnant for a vacation. Was a little hesitant given the cost and having to pay for shipping but I am very happy with this skirt. It's super comfortable, just the right length, and the boyshort underneath means that there is no, uh, grooming required. I know I'll wear it postpartum this summer, too! I got the polka dot v-neck tankini top to go with it and the combination looks very nice.

I loved this swim skirt. I wore it all summer from 5 months - 8 months pregnant. As others have mentioned in reviews, the belly band is a bit loose, I would’ve liked it to be tighter, especially in those earlier months. But, I wasn’t pulling it up constantly. So don’t let those reviews deter you from purchasing. The material was of good quality, didn’t snag or tear. Appropriate length. Awesome product.
