TREBLAB X5 - High-End Bluetooth Earbuds w/Beryllium Speakers - True HD Sound, Deep Bass, Best Sports Running Truly Wireless Headphones, Noise Cancelling Mic Microphone, Waterproof IPX4

I’ve had and used these headphones for over a month now and even made a full review of them on my YouTube channel that you can watch by searching my name: Alex CdeBaca. What you need to know is that for the money these are an incredible headphone especially for the money. They have great battery life, a small compact charging case, easy to pair, work with google assistant and Siri, the ear hooks make them perfect for working out without cables, and the sound quality is awesome! If you like working out the sweat resistance is amazing and I love knowing that these won’t fall out of my ear with the included ear hooks. They have easily replaced my AirPods at the gym. The only major down side I can point to is some minor disconnections that rarely happened and the fact that calls only happen through one of the ears. Other then that they work great and are wonderful especially for the price.

Loved these at first. Sound, fit and, battery life were great. Started to lose sound on one side apon closer inspection there is a very fine screen preventing ear wax or any other contamination to earbud speaker. Mine was partially clogged, I tried to clean them and they immediately fell off. Couple of weeks later I now have a problem that one bud doesn't want to recharge in the case unless I am extremely careful aligning it and then applying pressure until charge light starts to flash then carefully putting case on my dresser and keeping an eye on it sometimes having to adjust several times. Very annoying to say the least.I only use them at the gym, don't abuse them and hope this is an isolated incident. These are only a few months old. I will be in touch with Treblab and hope their customer service for a replacement. UPDATE; customer service reached and replacement earbuds received. My CS rep was extremely pleasant and helpful. Will update again to see how they hold up, hope first set was a fluke. Customer service deserves 5 stars. Earbuds sound deserve 5 stars. Over all product gets 4 until next update in a few months

UPDATE 10/01/2020 I had previously rated the X5 as a one-star. While I still rate that product low, based on my experience, I have increased my rating for Treblab to five-stars based on their customer service. Within 24 hours of posting my original rating, Treblab sent me an email apologizing for my experience and offered me a discount on another product. I applied that discount and purchased their Z2 Bluetooth headphones which I love. Granted I have only had them for 3 days, but have used them for music, audio books, YouTube, and taken phone calls. They have worked flawlessly. The sound is very good and the noise canceling works better than other headphones I have used. I will continue to purchase Treblab products knowing they stand behind them. Since I got my original purchase money refunded and a nice discount on another product, that’s what true customer service is all about. I have had Treblab XR500 and Treblab XR100 earbuds for the last 2-3 years and really liked them. I decided to try the X5 and am very disappointed. There are three reasons for my disappointment as follows: 1) The left earbud periodically cuts out for a second or two.This happens about every 10-15 minutes: annoying. 2) The control buttons on the earbud are nearly flush with the earbud surface and not easily located in a hurry. 3) The biggest issue however, is when I receive a call and press the power button on the right earbud, the call volume is so low, I have to remove my earbud and use the phone speaker or hold the phone to my ear. This is a big issue for me since I usually receive one or more calls when I am wearing the earbuds. None of the issues listed above are present on my XR500 or XR100. After trying to use the X5 for the last week, I finally gave up. I just returned from Kohl’s after sending the earbuds back to Amazon. Looks like I will stay with my XR earbuds until something better comes along.

Read the other reviews and don't buy this item. The left-side ear but frequently cuts out as other report. It's a design "choice" that was made to keep costs down and there is no solution - all paris of these buds do this. What's worse is that these are high-latency devices. They can be "ok" for music listening, but cannot be used with any type of video because the sound will never be in sync. Again, this is a design choice and there is no solution but to throw these in the trash as I did. I even had the extended warrantee, but all that will get you is more of the same junk.

Overall, these have proven to be decent headphones...but not great. For the money, I think they are a fair value, but I question the five-star gushing reviews. First, the right (not the left, as many report) drops out on me from time to time, usually requiring me to power down and then power back up and reconnect. Second, you only hear phone calls through one of the ear buds -- not both. Third, the sound quality is pretty good...but my wired Bose sport headphones are much better when comparing them back-to-back. But given the cost point, most of this is forgivable. The last point is the size of these is a good bit thicker than similar buds...just be aware these things really stick out visually.

After reading a review that someone had a problem with the fit I was hesitant of buying these. Seems to be a problem for me with earbuds. I must say these the very comfort fitting and they stay in place even when running or in the gym. Sound is good and length of playtime is impressive. Great earbuds for the price. Only negative was my original arrived in what appeared to be factory sealed box but the earbuds+charging box was not in its box. I returned to amazon and had a replacement within 2 days. They made it right I still give them 5 stars.

I like these, though still getting used to them. I with they were slightly smaller and more streamlined, but they are light and fit well and securely and sound good. It's great to finally be free of wires. Good product for a fair price. Very nice design with the charging/carrying box.

**Update: I was contacted by the folks at Treblab via a card in the mail. They were very apologetic and offered to send me a replacement. The replacement arrived on 7/13/19. While I'm not thrilled about what happened as stated in my original post, I am VERY pleased with the personal contact and customer service from this company, and would definitely recommend purchasing from them. I've consequently changed my review from one star to four stars. I've been using these earphones since I purchased them in December 2018. They paired easily with my phone, were comfortable in my ears, sounded decent, and the charging case was a bonus. Until this morning. I awoke to find that the charging cable had burned and melted, destroying the case (see photos). I consider myself lucky that a larger fire didn't happen. Seriously could have burned my house down while I slept! I know I'm past the return window, but I'm hoping the manufacturer or someone in the company will see this review. I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I honestly thought my quest for decent earphones at an affordable price was over. I liked these so much! Guess I will have to keep searching. :(

Sehr gut zum Sport geeignet. Haben auch schon die X2. Die sind auch Klasse. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

This is the second one I bought. Connection is good, sound is good. Battery got weak in the first one after a year.

Too bad for these ear buds. I love the comfort, the sound is the kind I like (not deep bass which is perfect for the kind of music I listen to, but you can still hear it), I love the case & simple line, BUT the left ear bud keeps disconnecting. I was on a bike ride home from work & within 2 minutes the left earbud disconnected twice & had to proceed with only the right one working. It had happened earlier in the day & was gonna give it a 1 week trial, but no, I am returning these cause for 89$ this should not be an issue. NOT worth the $$ UPDATE!!! After having experienced disappointment with these headphones, the company reached out to apologize and offered a free new pair of headphones. At first I ignored it since I had been gifted with a pair already by my brother, but they reached out a second time then a third, which was a handwritten postcard... and how could I say no to that kind of dedication. They were kind and helpful and gave me the choice between another of their products and I chose the Treblab XR700 which work great and, according to my brother, have a great microphone.The service was great and the substitution was great that earns them a few more stars on this review, JUST for the customer service.

Update 12.9.2019 Muss leider meine Empfehlung revidieren...... immer wieder Abbrüche...lässt sich nur nach langen hin und her wieder verbinden. Leider keine Kaufempfehlung! Ich würde diese Kopfhörer wieder kaufen. Das mit den Abbrüchen kann ich nicht bestätigen. Ich brauche die Kopfhörer nur für Hörbücher aber mein Mann meint in den Bässen sind sie etwas schwach. ( er hat aber auch Bose Kopfhörer ;-) ) Von mir gibt es definitiv eine Kauf Empfehlung! Muss leider meine Empfehlung revidieren......
