Good value for money

The BBC and David Attenborough, have been producing World beating nature documentaries for years.This one is no exception. The camera work, production and expert commentary by the man himself are all absolutely spot on.Sit back, relax and enjoy the show.Highly recommended. Another wonderful series from the master of nature films, Sir David Attenborough. With the exception of the penguin episode, which is more general, each episode follows one particular individual as he or she attempts to secure the future of their dynasty. The photography is amazing and each animal's story is presented in an engaging way. There are one or two factual errors, which mostly seem to have been inserted for for dramatic effect - I found this a little irritating, given that the creatures' lives are interesting enough without needing to resort to fantasy. Essentially, though, a gripping series that any animal lover will enjoy.

This 2 dvd set follows 4 African animals.first the chimpanzies and Davids fight to try and keep,lose ,then gain back his clan,,,second the king penguin and the birth and survival of the next generation,,,third the lion pride where a pride is decimated by poisen ,attack and new male lions..fourth painted wolf (African dogs) ,black tip daughter of TAte takes over tate s land and hunting grounds with her own pack only to come across dangers.from all sides and the Bengal tiger.nearly 5 hours of high picture quality ,presented by David Attenborough,,I thouroughly enjoyed watching and adding to my collection....I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I ordered this for my elderly mum to watch during lockdown. She usually nods off to sleep whilst watching tv. Not during this dvd. She was hooked! She watched a whole 3 hours and thoroughly enjoyed it. Yet another outstanding documentary with David Attenborough. Highly recommend.
