It's a great size to hold space on an open wall. As you can see from the photo, it is supposed to have a rustic, handmade look, so there are imperfections in the outer ring (such as dings and obvious weld points). We've had it a month now and it has been perfectly keeping correct time. It's fairly heavy, so it must be securely mounted. My one complaint, although minor and noted by others as well, is that the hands tend to blend in with the decorative background.
