Filament Storage Containers Pack of 6

i love that i can stack them. they seem to seal real well too. mine was missing half of one of the clamps but they are sending one out. customer service is fantastic. so far i love them. easy to store my spools wish they still came with the Desiccant packs. they stopped giving those with the containers. expense is a lil high , but they seem to be good containers so far. all have rubber seals in the lids. they did send the stl file so i could print one latch , so thats a plus for future replacements .

They work just fine, I just with the plastic hold down clamp/snaps were a little stronger. But they seem to work well.

Finally individual 3D filament reel storage containers that make sense. I ordered a set of containers from the PrintDry web site as I was concerned about delivery on the Kickstarter page. The containers shipped two weeks earlier than promised and I am delighted with them. I think the $24 shipping charge is excessive and this has given me pause on ordering more right away.

I received the set of containers and lids but only had enough plastic latch parts for 5 of the 6 containers. For the cost of the set it should include some extra, let alone be short.

Didn't seem deep enough to hold a typical spool of filament, so I put a teaspoon of water in the container, along with the spool, and locked all four latches. I tipped it over the sink and the water ran out. Not just a dribble, a regular tinkle stream. The spool wasn't an extra wide one. The seals on the lid didn't wrap around the edge of the container, either. They were just flush with the edge of the larger part. It seemed like any jostling of the containers during movement or stacking would push the gasket out of a sealing position (assuming your spool was narrow and it created a seal). Not recommended as airtight filament storage.

Not water-tight so it's obvious they are not air-tight. I really hate it when reviewers say something is "garbage" but these are exactly that. Garbage. Wait, let me say it louder - GARBAGE!. See photos.

These filament storage boxes are just what I needed. After reading some of the other reviews I wasn't sure but I decided to try them and I'm happy I did. I ordered another set. They're appropriately sized and sealed and are relatively affordable. They also fit just right in some pegboard racks I have. I had to contact the seller for assistance with something and they were helpful and responsive.

This is now rocket science, it's just a plastic container but it's the exact size we need to store filament without wasting space. The seal seems good quality. I was missing two little clamps, I contacted the seller and they responded right away and sent me the parts quickly.

I bought these to store filament and keep it dry and well organized. upon assembly I noticed like others have that the lids do not fit very well and do not seal. contacted the supplier and they suggested trying to remove and reinstall the seal ... so I did, but I used dish soap to lube the seal and this made a huge difference the tubs do now seal also I noted that I was assembling the clips incorrectly. now the fit better and seal very well. I will be buying more. got 4 stars only for the need to maybe have a more rigid lid and maybe a more forgiving seal ... maybe some instructions

The seal well, when you can keep the clips together. They tend to fall off every time you use them. Nice and clear so viewing the humidity sensor is easy.

I'd like it better if the plastic pins for the hinges were metal for the cover hooks. The cover seals look very good. I like them.

The locking clamps fly off with the least amount of pressure. Already lost one clamp. Everytime you open or close they fly off. Complete garbage. Don't waste your money.
