I was looking for an extension lead with surge protection, and bought this one - and I couldn't be happier.It's well made, easy to use, and so practical. It's been a long while since I've bought an extension lead, and I'm so pleasantly surprised at how many features you can get these days for not very much money.I highly recommend this. And unless you need more plug sockets and more USB ports, you really don't need anything else.

Take care when charging usb devicesI have had 4 of these over the past 2 yearsThe first one is working absolutely fine and still working fine and the usb slots are used frequently to charge dog collars and a head torch.Then I ordered 2 more .I unpacked the second one and switched on the usb without anything plugged in and it blow instantly. Sent it back and got it replaced (number4)Unpacked the 3rd which worked fine for 6 months charging my iPad. All worked fine until I plugged two usb cables into the usb slots. And now it’s blown. Luckily it blow and didn’t damage my iPad or phone!! The sockets are all working fine and the switch lights up for the usb sockets but no power is now coming from them.So I swapped this extension for the 4th one. Just started charging my iPad and I smelt it getting hot. Felt it and it’s red hot.I know the usb cable is fine as I use it to charge the iPad through a wall installed usb socket.Doubt I will be able to have it replaced or refunded as it is now 6 months old.So take care when charging usb devices.

Looks sturdy and well-made. It's easy to charge my mobile phone from directly, which works perfectly. I also like the colour-coded sockets which each have a separate on/off switch.

Seems to be a good quality extension lead that works perfectly. Having different coloured switches is useful.
