The Shining DVD [Remastered]

For a movie this old picture quality is very good. No static/snow or sound issues. Colors were good and definition was like a newer film dvd. It is much better quality than some blurays I have of films also made in the 80s. No complaints, I recommend. As for the film, it is a surreal chilling suspense masterpiece. The most perfectly selected cast for such a film. Academy award level.

Good digital restoration of classic movie

A penultimate 80's classic of the genre that I wanted to add to my digital library, you can't go wrong with such a great film at a reasonable cost.

The DVD was good quality, never skipped once, good sound. My boyfriend wouldn't even tell me talk during the movie, that's how invested he was in the story.

Sound and image aren't superb, but good for its price.
