Too strong for bird watching. Mimimum focusing distance too large. Nowhere near the specs.
In and of itself, it's a good strong clear bioncular. But the minimum focusing distance i measured was about 60 feet for 16x50 model which makes it completely unusable for bird watching, together with a too strong magnification. The 12x50 model has a focusing distance of 28 feet, nowhere near the published 18 feet. Also not good for bird watching

Decent for the money
Let me start out by saying that I wish I could give these a 3.5 stars. They're not bad binoculars, but they're not the best I've seen either. Take their price into account, and they're pretty good. I bought them so I could keep a pair of binoculars in the car for times that I go hiking or to "dark sky" astronomy events and not have to worry if I forgot and left a nicer pair at home, and wouldn't have to worry about a nicer pair staying in the car. These should be sufficient for that need. Now, don't buy these if you're expecting them to be as good as the pair of Bino-Luxe, Swans, or Sears binoculars that your dear old grandad bought back in the 1950s or 60s. They're not going to be that good, nor are they likely to become the heirloom that your grandad's are. They don't feel that sturdy. Just keep in mind that your grandad paid around $100 in 1950s or 1960s dollars for his, which would be like paying $800 or more in today's money. You're getting these for less than $50, which should put things into perspective. They work, but they seem to lack a certain amount of sharpness and their eye relief is somewhat short. They will give better results if you attach them to a tripod. If stuff like that doesn't bother you or you haven't experienced a good set of older binoculars, then these issues may not bother you. Keep you expectations a little low, and you'll be happy.

Excelente calidad/precio

Buen precio, algo oscuros. Cinta defectuosa
No tienen mucha aberración cromática.
