My dog had awful stinky breath so I needed something to fix that. The mint in these definitely helped with his stinky breath. And he eats them with ease! I’ve bought two bags since the first one and I’ll continue to buy more. They are effective, worth the money, and my dog can chew them easily and he loves them.

My little old dog is very picky when it comes to anything meant to clean his teeth. He hates all of the fake meat-flavored bone alternatives and toothpastes, but he loves the mint flavored Dentastix. I wish I’d found them sooner! He does have to work at eating them since he’s had several teeth pulled over the years, but he actually chews them rather than trying to swallow them whole like the green treats by another brand.Size & chew:I compared nutrition labels before buying, and these Dentastix have the highest moisture content of all the green treats I could find, which makes them a little easier to bite into than others even though they appear larger. I think the X shape, while unwieldy, also helps since he’s not having to bite through a half inch of solid treat.Effectiveness:Nothing will really help my dog’s breath at this point, because the vet wasn’t able to pull a large tooth that’s rotting in back. I will say that these treats don’t have that nasty fake meat smell, just a mild minty scent, and I think that they help clean his remaining teeth since he actually chews them.Longevity:I was worried that these might get stale since I was buying such a large quantity, but there doesn’t seem to be any decline in quality over time from what I can detect of the scent and texture. I do my best to minimize exposure to air, light, and temperature changes to keep them fresh. I prefer to break each sheet into individual sticks before storing as many as I can in a ceramic jar with a rubber gasket for quick, easy access. (You can see my dog checking out his treat jar in the pic.) I also squeeze any extra air out of the bag with the remaining treats before closing the built-in zip seal and putting it in the pantry. Maybe I’m being overly cautious, but my dog only gets one a day, and he was just as enthusiastic to eat it on day 102 as he was on day 1. I call that a win!

Good as a dental treat though my dog gets ear infections when she eats anything containing poultry, these have a poultry product in them for anyone in the same boat.

Great for dogs teeth. I been using this since my i got my dogs. It works great on their teeth and breath. My vet saids my dogs teeth are great due to this. Highly recommend.

Wonderful treat and definitely helps their teeth and breath. The amount received is really nice especially for the price. One hundred and eight is like 324 as I slice them into 3. My furbabies are small so too big for them. Absolutely a great value.

These really hard keep our dog's teeth clean & breath fresh! I recommend the mint. The dogs love the other flavors too, but they don't help as well with the breath.
