So Good!
All of the Viking Quest series are really good! In this one Bree, Devin and Mikkkel set out on an adventure across the seas, but when strange things start to happen Bree begins wondering if some one is trying to kill Mikkel! Will she find out who before Mikkel is injured? Splendid books! Just keep getting better and better! I Hope you read and like them all!

I can't tell you how much my kids and I enjoy this series. We use it in our homeschool and I had to secretly read ahead at night because I couldn't put it down! Love, Love, Love the whole series!

Excellent series!
My fourth grader is reading through these books aloud and I find myself engaged in the plot. I nod my head along when the main characters come to a realization and mature in their faith. The author doesn't write "down" to kids, so the plot isn't overly cheesy or terribly predictable. These are fantastic books that should spark some thought about what it means to live your life according to your beliefs, especially when the rubber meets the road so to speak. I have appreciated how well the characters are developed so we can have some compassion on the "bad" guys, and the "good" main characters sometimes don't know what to do or maybe make a choice they wonder if they'll regret. When things go awry, do you try "fix" them yourself, or blame others, or point a finger and demand someone else brings about a resolution? When should a person wait? When should a person take action or begin arguing their cause? Good questions can be drawn from this book. I have a high moral standard for what my children read and this fits the bill. Be sure to check out her other series as well, we've read all of the Northwoods series and enjoyed them thoroughly!
