The item is white. What exactly should Amazon do? You can switch ANY app OR website to dark mode. You'll quickly realize that apps or websites not meant for dark mode will literally have parts that can't be read or seen at all. I decided to actually answer the ridiculous question. Does this fast charge as if it were plugged in?

No it is not the same as the rapid charge when you plug into the wall. it charges at 10 watts wirelessly which is faster than most wireless chargers. When you plug your phone into the USBC it charges at about 18 w which is when you get rapid charge.

Does this charger also work with the Pixel 3a?

The Pixel 3a does not have wireless charging, so no.
