Hey, it's Meinl! What more would you expect aside from top notch quality. This is not your farm-hand's cowbell. It has a great sound to it and it is THICK . . . Everywhere! Well worth the money.

mas cowbell? chale. ni si quiera. i gave this as a birthday gift to my wife so she could jam with the b-side players. even took a small apple branch and smoothed it out and hand painted it so cool for her to bang on it with, and then made a cool leather carry case that held both. three months later, she went wacko and started divorce proceedings.you decide.

If you're looking for a noisemaker for your kid's soccer game, move on. This is not the item for you. This is a musical instrument that requires you to strike it to make noise. That being said, it has a beautiful tone when hit. It is exactly what I was hoping it to be and is perfect for the classic rock band I sing with. I've only had it a few weeks so durability is yet to be tested. So far, I can say that if you have "a fever, and the only cure is more cowbell", this will fit your needs. It seems well made and is reasonably priced.

What I like most is that the 4.5-Inch Handheld Brushed Steel Cowbell is small, but has a big sound.

Not worth the money or aggrevation. No where in the description does it say you can't ring this bell on it's own. You need to buy a stick to go with it otherwise it's just a useless piece of garbage. Not worth - don't buy it. Got it for my son's soccer tournament and by the time I was ready to use it and realize it's not what I wanted, Amazon wouldn't take it back.
