Little House Japanese Sewing Notions - Dressmaker's Pins with Tin

I love these pins. They're very sharp and slender and slide into fabric without any dragging or snagging even at the tips. I noticed that they sold them for slightly less if you chose to get them without the tin but I couldn't resist it. Now that I've got it I don't regret my decision to pay a tad more for it. That little tin is pretty darned cute and very handy to have in a sewing basket.

These glass topped pins are the best I have ever used for piecing quilts. They are very sharp. The best word for them is elegant. I know that might sound silly but they are so delicate and strong and so perfect. I would not use any other pin since I started using these.Pricey compared to big box craft store pins but totally worth it. I feel like an expert when I use these pins!

I really like the pins. Just the right size for my quilt projects. The shaft is sharp and thin, just right! The little tin they come in is cute and fits nicely in front of my sewing machine. I liked them so much I bought a second set!

Easy and quick to piece quilt blocks using these pins

I had heard about these pins from a fellow quilter. I looked online and they were sold out and I waited for what seemed like forever for these pins to be restocked. I don't know what it is about this brand but I love them.

I bought to use with some very tightly woven polyester that regular dressmaker pins just couldn’t puncture. The little sucker are so dang sharp, I can’t tell you how many time I punctured my fingers with even the slightest bump of the tip. The only drawback is they are also very thin and will bend easily. That’s just something to keep in mind. They do have a good bit of flex to keep from bending out of shape. Just don’t push it (no pun intended). I don’t use them for plain old cotton fabric because they are so sharp and I don’t like getting blood all over my projects.
