Grace Start-Right EZ3 No-Baste Hand Quilting Frame

This quilting frame is just as I imagined. Reviews had me ready for a fight, but assembly wasn't hard at all. It took my husband and myself about 3 hrs. I'm looking forward to using it, just as soon as I get my next quilt top finished

I love this frame and I am sad the company is only making frames for long arms. It is very enjoyable to use and YES it takes up space but I have the room for it. We added a support between the legs as I do mostly large quilts. Yes it did sag without the support we made when fully extended but now very sturdy. If you wish to make it smaller simply remove the support we made and adjust it smaller. I don't think a support is needed when it is in the smaller size. I love that I don't have to hand baste anymore. 5 stars for this frame!!!!!!

My mother has done lots of quilting using her old square frame. So I thought this would be ideal for her. Once I've got it and put together , it's not steady at all. I like the top part for quilting , it's the legs that not right for us. I will keep this and redo the leg portion to make it steady for her. The thought is great.

I called the original manufacturer to see if I could get replacement parts only to find out it has been out of production since 2017 and they no longer had the parts I need. Hence, it had to be returned because one of the main parts that held the frame together was missing.

Took awhile to assemble and requires adjustments after use. Still, it works and my wife uses it often. It could be a little more solid, but worth the price if you are willing to adjust it while in use.

The assembly instructions had several errors. One part had the incorrect size screw hole tapped, and one of the wooden cross beams had the screw hole drilled incorrect. The product overall is good and my wife is happy with the way it functions. As the person that had to assembly it, I was not so satisfied.

Amazing piece of engineering. I'm the hubby who put it together. Review is about that. 1. Take your time. 2. Very very well written manual but this beauty has lots of hardware and pieces. Take it step by step and make sure you have each step right. 3. Make sure you have all the pieces before you start..mine did. If not, then call 800 number provided. 4. Take your time...I took me about 1 1/2 days...lots of bolts and hardware that goes a certain way. Once you get it put together pat yourself on your back then turn it over to the quilter...I'm not. It's a beautiful machine. Good luck.

I have been looking for the perfect frame for my mother who is in a wheelchair. It took me two days to put it together, but I wanted to make no mistakes because it appeared that there were no extra hardware, and I was right. The process was fun for the both of us. We were so excited to get to use it, but was unable to because there were necessary accessories which were not mentioned in the original advertisement. Also was not mentioned on the packaging. We were able to make our own fabric guides. Mom is a quilting fool now. Great and EASY to use. Delivery from Amazon was really fast and the free shipping was a plus. Love this product, love Amazon......
