It's a really tiny wallet so be prepared for that.
This wallet is the first _real_ wallet I've purchased in 13 years. I went from a girly purse type wallet to this, a more minimal, slim wallet as I try to pare down what I carry. I've had this a couple months and here are my thoughts. **STYLE/ATTRACTIVENESS** _Great_ One of the things that stood out to me was the packaging. It seems thoroughly considered. Small detail but a nice surprise. It is a great looking wallet. Easily the best looking I have ever used since going to the “male” wallet type. **COMFORT** _Great_ It is slim and small. Fits right in your back or side pocket. There’s not much in the way of comfort a wallet needs to have. **ORGANIZATION** _Great_ This is a slim wallet, meaning that there are few pockets and sleeves for organization. With that said, there is a quick access pocket that can hold up to six cards. There is a pull flap that you pull and the cards are exposed. In my testing, it worked well. I tried it several times just messing with it and it works well. Someone said their cards came out a bit crooked and I can see that; one of mine was slightly crooked coming out, but I fixed that by pushing the cards all the way in and straightening them. **BUILD** _Great_ Not going to find a better build slim sleeve wallet. Seriously. Buy one and see. **VALUE FOR PRICE** _Good_ Easily the best made wallet I own. My $15 Clifton Heritage Leather Wallet is bifold so there is a lot of organization, and it is also has RFID protection and is much bigger for much less. At first I was really disappointed with the Bellroy wallet. It may be too small for me. I may keep it or I may go with the Bellroy Low Wallet which is also slim but a bit larger and with a bit more organization. My disappointment does not detract from how great this wallet is. It’s spectacular. I just wish I could have seen it up close and personal.

Very good minimalist wallet
In my opinion, this is as good as it gets for slim and small wallets. The leather feels good and the compactness forces you to think about what to carry. There is plenty of room for at least: 1 license/ID 1 metro card 1 card in the inside slot 3-4 cards in the pull out sleeve maybe 3-4 bills behind the license Any more than the above and the wallet will have issues staying close. Maybe this is something that resolves itself with use and time, but I just have 2 additional cards and my health insurance ID in the pull out pocket, couple of emergency bills behind the license, and everything just works. It's small, disappears into a pocket, and feels like quality. I went through a lot of other options before settling on this. It's pricier than almost everything else, but you get what you pay for. No regrets.

High quality wallet and still pristine after a year of daily use
Probably my favorite wallet of all time. After a year of daily use it shows no visible wear, even though I’ve probably got it overstuffed. I carry a wad of folded bills, 7 cards, and a small stack of business cards, and it has maintained its shape and luster with no deforming, cracking, etc. the leather is very high quality and scuff resistant. I don’t go out of my way to protect and pamper this thing, but it still looks great. Definitely not the cheapest slim front pocket wallet, the quality and value are there. I would definitely purchase this item again, but I don’t think I’ll need to for a while. 5 stars all the way.

Great quality, slim profile, holds up over time
I've been using one of these for two years, and in my opinion it's the perfect wallet. Slim enough to not bulge a front or back pocket, and holds everything I actually need for EDC. Mine currently holds 8 cards--has held as many as 12--and fits all my cash folded in half. I've never struggled to fit bills, but I also never carry more than a dozen bills or so; YMMV. The craftsmanship is solid; it's lasted me this long without threads coming loose. It may seem a tad expensive for the amount of material actually used to construct the wallet, but I find the quality hard to argue with me and I'd gladly take it over less expensive wallets with a similar profile. The leather tends to take on dark marks over time, as any wallet would, so I might recommend the darker colors (or regular leather cleaning, which I don't do) to mitigate this. The slider tabs work as intended; for the first week or so I did occasionally have to tug a bit to remove the cards, but it loosened up quickly without visible stretching. I would recommend keeping to a small number of cards in each of the quick access slots; I keep my primary credit card in one and my DL and metro card in the other. If you stack too many in these slots (3+) they tend to stretch out a bit over time, so that they no longer firmly hold a single card (the card slips out too easily).

2 Year Update
After two years of using the Black leather Slim Sleeve, I'm very impressed. It's held up well to everyday use, and it's never gotten uncomfortable in my pocket. I haven't seen any significant wear, and I think it will last for years to come. I previously returned the Slate colored Slim-Sleeve and exchanged it for the Black. I am much, much happier with the wallet now, and have since updated my review from 3 stars to 4 stars. Here are some differences that I've noted: 1. The quality of the black leather feels incredibly different from the Slate. It's a little thicker, smoother, and softer. Honestly the Slate really fell short of my expectations, and hardly felt like leather. The black actually looks like a really nice wallet, and I imagine the other Naked or Dressed leathers feel the same. I feel a little better paying $80 for the black. 2. The black is a stiffer leather than the Slate. I find this to be a really good thing. Within three days of using the Slate wallet, I noticed that my cards had made indents in the leather that were very visible, and I haven't had this issue yet with the black. 3. The Slate wallet began to darken significantly after a week of delicate use, and I was not happy with the color. It almost started to look a bit green, which I'm guessing was the dyes that they used to make the wallet grey. The black still has a great shine, and has kept the distinct leather smell and feel. ****ORIGINAL REVIEW**** First off, I would recommend doing a little research on Bellroy's website before jumping in and buying one of these wallets. One of the things you need to know is that different colors of leather look and feel different. The different categories are Naked, Dressed, and All-Conditions. Naked leathers are much more prone to staining than others, and I find that they they darken significantly over time. Dressed are a bit shinier and better protected, and All-Conditions have a matte feel to them and almost feel fake. They repel water, don't scratch as easily, and supposedly hold up better than the other leathers over time. I didn't really find this to be the case, as my Slate wallet began to look very dirty and banged up after only a week of very delicate use. That said, I chose the Slate color. It has an off-white, slightly blue stitching to it. It appears white to the eye, but if you look close it has a slightly blue hue to it. I like the color, but it appears that my wallet was stitched slightly crooked, so it closes a little weird and one side hangs over farther. Also, my cards get caught on a piece of leather when trying to use the pull-tab (which I'm assuming is due to the crooked stitching). I docked a star for quality control, which I feel was poor for this expensive of an item. The leather started off extremely matte, and after a week or two began to take on some character and began to shine a little. However, the Slate started to take on a strange, slightly greenish hue. I can confirm that this is not from my clothing, and is most likely due to the dyes that were used. The wallet lives up to it's name in the slim department. I try to keep as few cards on me as possible, and the wallet holds them perfectly and fits into my pocket great. One of my great surprises when opening this wallet is how small it actually is, aside from how slim. It's really only a little taller and wider than a standard credit or debit card, which I was not expecting, but was a pleasant surprise. Personally, I feel really torn about this wallet. I want to absolutely love it, but the bottom line is that it's NOT an $80 wallet, especially after seeing other Bellroy wallets that have been used for a year or two. They generally don't wear very well due to the thin nature of the leather, and many people encounter stitching problems well before they should be having them. I see myself having to replace this wallet after maybe a year of regular use, which I feel isn't really acceptable for a wallet in this price range. It's a shame, because Bellroy has done a good job on just about everything, including the packaging, branding, and website design. My other gripe is the leather itself. It's decent quality, but it really doesn't have that buttery soft feel that you get from really premium and quality leather goods. I used to have a card holder that felt that way, and it lasted many years. I'm happy with the slim nature of the product, but disappointed with the quality control and price for what you're getting. Leather quality is just okay, nothing special.

Awesome every day wallet.
I’ve had this wallet for about 3 months and I absolutely love it. The quick access slots are perfect for my daily-use credit cards, and the pull tab is perfect for easy access to my lesser-used ones. The cash slot is handy too, I can fit 7 bills in there nicely, or last month, I got a SmartTrack card in case I lose my wallet, and because I don’t need access to it, I slipped it in the cash slot and can still fit 5 bills very comfortably. The wallet has held up very nicely over the past 3 months. The corners have been rounded downwards a little, though by no fault of it’s own. Absolutely expected when you keep a wallet in your back pocket every day. It’s much slimmer than my old bi-fold wallet, and only has a marginally bigger area than a folded US dollar bill. I’ve never left a review on Amazon before, but this wallet is seriously great.

Great minimalist wallet
I recently purchased the Bellroy Slim Wallet and I am thoroughly impressed with its sleek design and high-quality materials. I thought downsizing from a traditional bi-fold wallet would be tough, but I realized I didn’t need 3/4 of the stuff I had in my previous wallet. This wallet is perfect for anyone who prefers a minimalist approach to carrying their essentials. The slim profile easily fits in my front pocket, which is great for when I'm on the go and don't want a bulky wallet weighing me down. The wallet is well-designed and holds just the right amount of cards and cash for my needs. It has two quick-access slots that I use for my drivers licesnse and credit card, and a clever pull-tab section that keeps the rest of my cards organized and easily accessible. The wallet easily accommodates a few folded bills as well. The top-grain leather used to construct this wallet is of the highest quality, but means that it can wear and scratch easily. The leather lining adds a touch of elegance and ensures the durability of the wallet. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase of the Bellroy Slim Wallet. It's the perfect choice for anyone looking for a slim, stylish and practical wallet.

Decline in quality
It is okay. Much stiffer than the first Bellroy Slim Sleeve I had. And the stitching on the front is some wonky pink color. Doesn't look good on the "Evergreen Leather". Disappointing.

The mini wallet
Didn’t think I was going to like the wallet. But it’s brilliant, smaller than a conventional wallet. But does the same job. Excellent quality. I can highly recommend.

Perfecta

seems durable, even smaller than advertised
Perfect small wallet this Slim Sleeve! Last bill fold I used was the Bellroy Travel Wallet which I stopped using because of covid cashless life. It was worn too after a good 5 years of left front pocket with phone. Got a new Travel Wallet, but because of covid, the cash went out en receipts to keep went rare. Cards went in the phone. Still need some cards sometimes, but no longer the large and sadly new and unused Travel Wallet. Onto something tiny. Much metal options, but those are not flexible and hard in the pocket. So Bellroy again, cause of the sleeve selection. The smaller the better, but some room for folded cash must be there. Choose this card sleeve because it could hold Euro bills folded once at 80mm, the €50 bill being 70mm when folded. The actual sleeve I got is however a good 5mm smaller than 80mm as advertised, being only 75 mm and thus awkwardly close to the card sleeve and other models. This makes a stack of Euros folded pushing the folding back but folded Euros up to 50's will work. If I had known the smaller size, I might have gotten the card holder. This but this Slim Sleeve comes in Nylon so that I never have to worry about the wallet getting wet, from splashes or sweat that untimely killed my travel wallet. This is a personal issue, but a large travel wallets leather surface retains sweattiness. Very happy that Bellroy now carries the nylon. First Travel Wallet did last about 5 years to being worn. That was leather and vulnerable to moisture. This is Nylon so it could handle that much better. Let’s see in 10 years of pocket endurance, will it make it?
