A Great Foundation for Young Children
My husband and I were looking for a book to help our children, ages 8 and 5, understand the concept and value of money. We had started an allowance but felt like they were more eager to spend the money than to care what it was spent on and when it was lost they didn't really care. We have since stopped the allowance and decided to go through this book first. We feel that this book is a wonderful resource to teach Christian principles to children, such as stewardship (what we own is a gift from God and we need to take care of it), giving, being content, and spending wisely. I don't believe the book is geared toward teenagers, but instead toward the younger child. It is written in an engaging way, using a cat named Larry to tell stories and impress principles. Each chapter ends with a short Bible study as well. Both of my children have enjoyed and benefited from the content so far. I'd recommend it to anyone wanted to teach Biblical principles to their children regarding money.

Hands down the best money book
I am blown away by how Incredible this book is. Biblically based. Starts out with stewardship and works it way slowly through trusting God, tithe, diligence in all things, etc ... It's focused on building character that will treat money well and that's what makes this stand apart from any other kids money books I've seen. I'm going through it with my 7 year old, but it's beneficial for any ages. I know some adults that should go through it! Incredible material.

Like the little quips for these young minds
I appreciate this written from a Christian perspective. Like the little quips for these young minds. Short attention spans so the lighter side gets to a point quickly. Will enjoy this book for years to come with my grandchild.

Not the item pictured!
Please note that this is the Money Matters for Teens Kindle book, not Money Matters for Kids. I had been shopping for Money Matters for Kids and clicked on the Kindle link from the "real" book page. Though the picture and sample pages are from the 'Kids' book, the actual purchase is for the 'Teens' book as the title indicates. Unfortunately, I just looked at the picture and the sample pages and didn't even notice the different title until I clicked 'Buy Now.' Fortunately, I was issued a refund. I'm assuming there actually is no Kindle edition of Money Matters for Kids. I haven't been able to find it, if there is!

Good Money Book for Kids
This is a good read aloud book for parents and kids to share. It has sound money principles and would provide a springboard for discussions of how to handle different money situations. I would recommend this book for parents of elementary students.

Great financial devotional for kids
This book was thinner/shorter than I was expecting, but it is still a great resource for teaching financial accountability and stewardship. My 10 & 11 year old sons liked it.
