Clabber GirlBaking Soda, 12 Ounce

I have ordered this several times now. I like its use in baking very much and I have been using this for brushing my teeth with a hydrogen peroxide rinse. I find the taste not to objectionable and while it is gritty it is great for teeth brushing. My Oral Hygentist says that my teeth are looking cleaner than ever and gums health. I wil continue using this brand and it is a fair price.

I am celiac and cannot have any corn gluten or any of its derivatives and this is 100% baking soda and not cut with corn starch. It makes my grain free breads rise a little and is a must have if you are baking like I do and a little goes a long way as it is 100% pure.

I know some ppl may disagree with me, and some ppl may think the cost for this item is way to high. And they are right!You may think its just not worth it for the amount you get!l can see your point of viewbutl have a far different take on it.My view is this:An opened box of Baking soda is only good for 6 months, then its old. So why buy a huge container if it will only lasts for 6 months? Makes no sense! Will l really be needing a lot of this? No.l mainly buy this brand for the convienence of it !Those yellow boxes of Baking soda is not one of my favorite things to grab and handle. I find it painful to hold!I find it very arkward and clumpsy to hold ! I find it unattractive !I don't even like the spout! Just to open that square box it feels as if l need a crowbar!Butl find this baking soda to be so much better in many ways! Takes up less room.Has a great grip.Easy to use.And has a replaceable lid.And yeah, if l really want to, l can simply get one of those other arkward boxes again and just refill this one up! But no. No thanks, l happen to like this brand a lot!! ❤

I used to be able to buy Baking Soda cans at the supermarket, but no one sells them anymore. Only the refrigerator boxes, which you can’t close. This is perfect! Thank you!

Could be a little bigger

The container was a little smaller than I expected, but I don't mind, I actually like that it's not clunky - and the quality of this baking soda, I've never seen before. It's soft and much finer than the standard commercial brand. And it's wonderful for toothbrushing. I mix it in a wide mouthed cup with neem powder (good for gums), plus an herbal toothpaste I really like, plus a bit of hydrogen peroxide to keep it somewhat moist and for more whitening and germ killing. This is going on my subscribe & save list.

Just value for your money

I've gotten tired of manufacturers dumping all kinds of chemicals into my toothpaste, not to mention the plastics used in the packaging that's not good for me or the landfill, and then charging obscene prices for it. Get a glass jar ... mix half baking soda with half fine grain Himalayan sea salt and add food grade anise oil (or peppermint or wintergreen or cinnamon or whatever you like). Voila! Toothpaste that not only cleans, but sanitizes your mouth and for really cheap given the amount it makes and how little you need to use every time.
