Worth reading.
My impression that this is a perspective of Kyudo through the lens of American martial practices. I haven't read this kind of content grouped together in one place before.

A great insight to Kyudo
When I finally decide to read this book, it has set on my shelf for years, I was delighted to see that the authors practice the same line of Kyudo that I do, Heki Ryu Bishu Chikurin Ha. I thought the book was a great insight not only to Heki Ryu but to Kyudo in general. The do a great job in breaking down everything from the Kyudo mindset, to the history, to the religious/zen aspect of this beautiful art. This book is worth reading regardless of your experience with Kyudo.

Limited value
Poorly organized content and structure, and the author’s thoughts are poorly laid out and expressed making it painful to read. May be of value to people who practice the particular line of kyudo that the authors have experience with, but of no value to the general reader.
