Gentle reminder, or new info, depending on what school you came from.
Great book on body Mechanics. We all need a reminder when our bodies say ow or just that achy, not quite right.... we are probably able to adjust something for optimal use of our bodies to reduce injury. This book should have the correction needed, It's pretty concise. Ever Massage therapist should be taught proper mechanics. Not all were. I was & sometimes I get slack & for get.

HUGE book! So many pictures and descriptions. This book will be well used. I saw on a facebook group that I being to for massage therapists that one of the therapists had purchased this book. Quite a few other therapists were also buying it or looking into buying a copy. Saw it online and grabbed one. Awesome reference book!

Fantastic Book!
I highly recommend this book. If you have every suffered from pain or injury from doing massage you need this book. It actually should be part of every massage school curriculum. It has given me so many tips and reminders of what I did learn in massage school and what I should be doing in the treatment room every time I give a massage!

Excellent - if you're a massage therapist - buy it-!!!
Over 600 pages of detailed information on how to work every area of the body safely ...and plenty of advice on more advanced body work techniques mixed into the overall presentation of safe and effective working. Every massage student should have a copy. Very interestingly it also covers all the no hands techniques and seems to be the originator of these techniques as it was printed well before the no hands massage people got going....so if you want to learn these then look here.I'm a full time massage therapist doing everything from remedial to lomi lomi...this book has really helped me.

What an amazing book
This is a true bible for bodyworkers with hundreds of photo illustrations and great tips about what to do and not do when massaging. I was staggered by the sheer size of the book as well. At over 600 pages long it is packed with information. The only disadvantage - if you can call it that - is that it's so big and heavy you really need a book rest to read it easily, but I'm not complaining, it's amazing value for money. I really wish I'd known about this book years ago when I first started out.

Just okay
A very thick book with a lot of info, but very dull presentation and illustration. Haven't found it that practical. Would have preferred less text and clearer and more illustrations, not that user friendly as a reference book.

... book after experiencing thumb and wrist pain and can't recommend it highly enough
Bought this book after experiencing thumb and wrist pain and can't recommend it highly enough. The size of the book is a bit daunting but it contains so much helpful information and photos and is really easy to follow (though it is probably aimed more at the experienced therapist). In a very short time I've already noticed the benefits of adapting my technique and posture. The pain has noticeably reduced and I have less muscle tension after carrying out treatments. It is an excellent reference book to dip in and out of. Well worth the money!
