The sequel to The Grannyman
I oh-so loved the story of The Grannyman, a very, very old and blind Siamese cat who was ready to die until his family gave him something to live for... a new kitten! He had to teach the little kitten everything he would need to know to be a cat...And now we have the story of Tink, who was The Grannyman's tiny kitten. Tink has a wonderful life with his family because he had a Grannyman. He knows how to enjoy life. One day his two human sisters decided to look in his ears. When they did, they saw... each other! Hmmm. That explains a lot. Tink liked to snack on things that were not good for him. One day he was so sick he was taken to the vet where he was given a red pill. Oh my! Tink wanted adventure and wanted to try the outside even though he liked being an indoor cat. Sometimes his family had to go away and leave him so they brought Tink a little kitten so he could have some company. After a hissy pffftty beginning Tink and the kitten curled up together and went to sleep. Tink knew he would have to teach the kitten how to be a good cat...The story continues until Tink is twenty years old and decides to have a new adventure. Wait until you read what he gets up to! Ha! The illustrations are priceless and so funny. I loved, loved, loved this book. Highly recommended!

Great favorite of my grandson!
A favorite of one of my grandsons---he now has every one Judy Schachner has written. The books are really cute and are fun for the young reader as well as to read to the child. Very clever; beautiful illustrations; quality book.

Not like the Skippyjon Jones series.
It was definitely J. Schnachner's writing style but the children I read the story to (read to them The Grannyman first) did not make the connection between the two books plus tired of the story and actually got up and walked away. I feel this book would be good for 3rd through 5th grades to inspire them to author/illustrate their own book. This book comes no where near the Skippyjon series, especially the chunky books on colors, shapes, etc. for younger kids

Full Circle
From Grannyman through the Skippyjon Jones series to Bits & Pieces β Judy Schachner's delightful, endearing, creative stories lift my spirits and put a smile on my face. My little Siamese is 17 years old and I've promised her a kitten for her 20th. Holy Guacamole! Where did the time go? Read one of these books and you'll be hooked!

A Darling Cat story
This is the sequel to the Grannyman.Bits was raised by A Grandpa Siamese cat. But as he gets older he is always into mischief until a darling baby Siamese comes to live. Little Pieces is raised by Bits and Bits finds his darling purpose in life. I love this book because these cats act just like mine-Crazy.

Judy Schachner rules!
I didn't think it was possible to love a cat book more than Skippyjon Jones, but I was wrong. Bits and Pieces made me laugh and cry (in a good way). She mentions The Grannyman in this book, so then I just had to order it as well.
