It did not start growing as fast as they claimed it would which I used throw and grow a couple of years ago and it worked a lot better not as much of a variety of seeds going into one plot as this but it sprouted faster and grew thicker quicker than this did. And to me this did not seem like it covered as well as the throw and grow.

Did nothing for me…. No growth !!

Only one of the plant seed varieties of the four listed germinated and grew.

It grows fast and thick. It says no till, but you should rake the surface to get better soil contact. Deer love it!

Deer mowing it down

Seed came up well, but the deer didn't eat on it much at all during the fall. Once the snow was down they were digging it up pretty aggressively, but that was well into winter.

Throw and go. I didn't plant all in one spot so my results are different from what the manufacturer. Where i did throw this out i saw growth in just a few days after a little rain fall. I placed it under tree coverage and in open field areas and all locations grew. Based on my cameras the deer like my corn feeders more than this. Ill pull the feeders in a few weeks and remove that temptation. :)

Roughed up the ground a little bit back in early April to experiment a little and this stuff did pretty well considering it was back deep in the big timber and hardly received sunlight. Going to try another back at the beginning of August in another location as well. Deer and turkey visit frequently.
