My daughter just turned 5, but she is the average size of an 8 yr old. She is taking her first dance class, and I didn't want to spend the crazy amount of money for a leotard in a dance store. Where she is long-torsoed, sizing is always an issue for us. I took a chance and ordered the 6-7 yr size since leos have some stretch to them. It is a perfect fit for her right now, but she'll outgrow it soon. That's not a sizing issue, just the size I ordered. Knowing these run true to size, we'll be back to get the next size up when she's ready.Other than that, the fabric quality is top notch. It looks expensive, but my picky girl was comfortable in it the whole time. The skirt is not super sheer, so it actually serves the purpose of covering her butt to a degree. My daughter absolutely loves her leo, and I absolutely love the price/quality of it. Way better than the expensive ones in store.

This is a great leotard for gymnastics. My daughter is 3yrs old and I got her a 3-4 size. Not to big but has enough room to grow. Nice material would recommend washing on gentle or hand wash

This product lives up to the expectations. The fabric is high quality and is very well made. The colors are exactly what you see on the screen and the little skirt flows freely whenever my daughter moves in it. Not to mention I picked her size and it fits her just like the other outfits fit her, as expected! I highly recommend purchasing this for your daughter to wear whenever or in dance! She is in a creative movement class and she needs the ability to move freely without constricting clothes or fabric that gets in the way, and with this she's able to do that.

I bought two of these for my daughter who likes to tumble and ordered the size 150 (10-11y). My daughter is 7 years old, but 98th percentile for height, with a long torso. The fabric is not flimsy, the design is cute and it is well made but unfortunately the leotatd part was just too snug and I had to cut it, which kind of defeats the point of it while she's cartwheeling on the front lawn.I would have given it 5 stars had I not gone up two full sizes only for it to be so tight a fit. She however still loves them and did not want to wait for an exchange.

I got it for my toddler's gymnastic class. She keep insisting on wearing a tutu to class but she needed to wear a gymnastic leotard. This leotard was a happy compromise find for me. It's very soft and comfortable. The little skirt on it makes my toddler happy and it makes me happy, since it doesn't get in the way of her tumbling.

Bough this my granddaughter who is 5 years old, she normally wears a size 5/6. I ordered the 6/7 and it fits great

This leotard is really good quality for the price and holds up well after being washed many times. My daughter has been wearing this for several months now to her gymnastics class and I strongly recommend. I bought one size up (usually 5-6 but I bought 6-7) and was happy I did as precise fit is not important since there is a tutu portion that covers up the bottom part of the leotard, giving her room to grow into the leotard. Going up one size meant that the leotard bottom fits a little bigger and my daughter can comfortably wear underwear with it and not have it show unlike other leotards where she has to go without.

Needed for my daughters gymnastics class. Material is excellent. I was worried about sizing being an issue but it fits perfectly. My daughter is 2-1/2 but wears 4T clothing. I purchased the 3y to 4y old size. I am glad I didn't go smaller. The arm sleeves aren't too long and shoulders aren't loose. I will be purchasing again!
