I was disappointed with the Makani. It flys well enough, but that's not the issue. It is advertised as a catch disc, however the airfoil is that of a disc golf putter. There is no rounded profile, it's squared off. Certainly was not what I expected and really don't enjoy playing catch with it. I throw catch 1 to 2 times a week for a couple hours and truly appreciate the characteristics of an ultimate out freestyle disc. The Makani is just not in the same category.

Honestly the best frisbee Ive ever bought. Very smooth and light weight. Easy to catch and flies in the air so perfect, I play with my friends all the time now that I have one for myself, they choose mine to use. I love the pattern and I love how flexible it is. I recommended this to my friends and everyone

Beautiful feel, nice flat flight.

We find it perfect as a throw and catch disc. Kids to adults (our 4 year old throws it well, even catches it fine), zero problems. Love the weight, radius.... everything about it.
