Have to rewire your fixtures as they are not compatible with ballasts but, I don't think any of the 8 foot, LED replacements are.Fit is good, brightness is good, like most fluorescent replacements there is no light on one side but, in normal fixtures that doesn't matter much. The diffused cover is great, you're not seeing those eye straining point light sources.They were super inexpensive, so much so I bought more than I needed in case one or two failed but, so far no failures! (It's not like I wasn't changing out those old Fluorescent bulbs with the mercury constantly!)So far, all good!

Requires rewiring of every fixture. Don't do this unless you are competent in working with high voltage AC power. I worry that they may, slowly sag and fall from the fixture. Each tube has a full length, aluminum heat sink on the top.

I guess some of the units that take this size bulb in my work shop have different innards and aren't compatible with this bulb. There's the problem and it's my fault because I tried them in another one of the two slightly different fixtures I have that take the same size bulb. It worked in that one and was bright with good illumination. So just know if you're like me to figure out beforehand if this will work in whatever fixture your needing a bulb for.

Just installed 24 of the 25 tubes.All worked, but 6 of the 25 take longer to light by a second or so.Not critical, but annoying. I verified the delay follows the individual tube(s) and not the holder.

These lights are nice and bright.Not as harsh on the eyes as some other LEDs.The ballast bypass was pretty easy to do.They do sag though.I wish they came with a clip to support them in the middle.Magnetic or screw in clip would've been nice.

I replaced the old glass tubes in my shop's light fixtures. Good lighting but the 8' lights sag almost 1" in the middle. They could be more rigid. (You can buy clips for these lights to hopefully eliminate the sag.) The big issue with this product is the box the lights are shipped in. Definitely not substantial enough for truck shipping. 7 out of the 25 where damaged.

-tubes came when promised and were securely packaged-lamp is bright and color is good-tube is rater flimsy and droops down in the center; could use a heavier gauge of plastic for the tube shell; added a plastic tie around tube to hold center up-would be much better if angle of light dispersion was greater

Would've gave 5 stars but, one of the boxes was very damaged in shipping and the bulbs were bent (metal with plastic covers that had to be reinstalled) but still worked. Givin' that they had to come all the way across the US without more damage to the aprox. 4" x 4" x 8' boxes are quite amazing. They all worked though so I didn't have to file a claim with UPS.
