LG AN-MR700 Magic Remote Control Replaces LG AN-MR600 and LG AN-MR650

Our old LG AN-MR700 remote broke after 8 years of use. The center wheel button collapsed. I spent a considerable amount of time on the internet trying to find an exact replacement. It was pretty confusing, many of the options looked close - but none of them had the exact button layout as the original. I use the arrow key buttons at the bottom (third line up from the bottom) quite a bit, and many of the other remotes offered, had changed those buttons to something else. Then I found this one - the seller was New Remotes. The service was fast and sure enough, when it arrived, it was a brand new, sealed, LG AN-MR700 remote, identical to our original one. The button layout was the same! It registered immediately with our 2016 65inch LG OLED TV. We are happy campers.

Does what it supposed to do but it just doesn't feel right in your hand. Its a bit slippery especially compared to the original remote that came with my LG tv.

This remote is amazing. After my son and daughter completely destroyed my original remote that came with my TV, I was in desperate need of another. This was great value for what I wanted and needed. It was a very easy setup right out of the box, less than a minute and I was ready to go!

My 65EF9500 magic remote stopped working correctly as a result I couldn’t access many of the setup functions on my TV. I tried some inexpensive Universal Remotes but no luck. I saw the AN-MR700 on Amazon and the description indicated it was a replacement for the AN-MR600. It was a little expensive but when it arrived it registered immediately! I now have my TV back!! Awesome remote!

Bought this to replace original LG remote which died and is no longer available.On the plus side it is better constructed and more solid than the original. Buttons are more responsive. Feels heftier.Now for the downside. The remote did not pair with either of my two LG TV's. Although it did change channels, adjust volume and power the TV's on/off that's about all it did. Many functions on the original remotes are absent. No previous channel button, no closed captioning button and worst of all no program info button. Since we are cable cutters we depend on the on-screen "Info" button to get a description of the show we are watching. Without that the remote is almost useless to us. Amazingly they did include two buttons for controlling a set top box and a button for 3D mode, none of which we needed.Essentially a $50 boat anchor.

It’s not compatible at all to the OLED65E7. Pricing Of remote wise is very high.When it can’t be registered to my TV, I decided to go the local agent. LG Agent’s Price of remote is significantly 30% less than buying from this website.Don’t waste your time trawling to look for a substitute remote. Check up the local agent if they’re within reach or contact.

I ordered this unit to replace the one that the dog ate. I have tried unsuccessfully to get it to pair with my LG OLED tv. I have e-mail and talked to the "tech expert" at Amazon, but nothing works. Waste of money and still no resolution.

The remote works very well with my Lg 65" E6 oled tv, it replaces the original that was lost when i moved.
