Mixer
Great mixer I would give it a 5 but sure enough when you do they raise the price. It is quiet and it is fast .. It does not splatter all over on 1. I really love it. I hope by giving such a good review will not up the price. JS from Tx

Nice Little Mixer
I haven't used this very many times as I just got it, but I can honestly say I was impressed w/the first use. I paid more than for previous mixers, but, so far, I think it was worth it. Other mixers had 3 speeds w/low being the lowest, which was anything but slow. They sent a dust cloud of dry ingredients all over. This mixer's low is actually slow & can mix dry ingredients without sending dust all over the counter and everything nearby. I wasn't sure I'd like the coating on the beaters. I've had some before & didn't like them, but the coating is a littler thicker than others I've had and work nicely. The beaters eject easily with the lever. I haven't tried the hooks (probably won't ever use them) and whisk that came with it yet. The storage case leaves a lot to be desired tho. It's convenient to pull the mixer out & have everything with it, but I struggle to unsnap it from the storage case & put it back on. I have arthritic hands making it a bit of a challenge, & I'm also afraid it's going to snap & break. I'm not knocking a star off for that. I'm rating the mixer, not the storage case.

Nice mixer but not "Professional"
I have this mixer for about a month. I've made whipped cream, cookies and brownies with it. The gearing starts really low and the difference between lowest and highest speed ramps up very slowly. At first I thought it wasn't going to work because it seemed so underpowered. But it handled a stiff dough just fine, and I could whip cream with the beaters or the wick quickly. The risk is a little flimsy so I am not sure how well it will hold up. The beaters have a coating on them which makes it quieter (when you hit the side of the mixing bowl) and they are easy to clean. I rated it 4 on holding because the way you increase/decreas speed is by rolling a wheel backwards and forward. The wheel is on top, so you need to be good with your thumb. rotates easy enough it's just awkward if you start slow to prevent spatter and then rev it up. Also, the trigger to release the beater is under the handle in a way that means you could accidentally pull it. I assume they won't come out if it is running, but could still be a mess for what you are making. Finally, the plastic case is a good idea, but I found it hard to open and you have to fit everything in just so if you want the cord to go in. I don't lock it down now, I just have the mixer sitting on top of it with the cord and accessories in it. Overall, a good mixer that has worked well to far. Easy to clean. Motor is quiet.

Nice Hand Mixer
I'd read several negative reviews on this, but wanted to try it for myself. I'm glad I did. It's quiet, easy to hold, doesn't scratch up the bowl, whether glass or metal, and includes very handy attachments. I don't do the homemade bread thing (yet), but hope to get time soon to do so and see how it works. Everything else I've done with it, it seems to have plenty of power. I have a 44-yr old Hamilton Beach that still works just fine - it's quite a bit louder than my new one (has always been loud), but I wanted something that was rubberized. I LOVE, also, that it doesn't sling batter. Nice to have the accessory-holder that the mixer snaps down into. My only complaint is that the power cord is not detachable, unlike my 44-yr old Hamilton Beach. HB should consider reverting back to detachable power cords! But still, a nice little mixer.

NIce quality hand mixer.
Have used this hand mixer 2 times and have found it to be very nice. I have a Kitchenaid mixer for those "heavy mixing tasks", but wanted a hand mixer for those other times. I looked at the Kitchenaid hand mixer, and Breville hand mixer, but figured I would give this brand a chance. Appears to be built well. Enjoy the lowest mixing speed where if you have dry ingredients they do not spray outside the bowl. Not quite sure why others have found this feature to be awful. I bought the black unit which was priced well, and am very happy with the purchase.

I was impressed-
Works great! Most powerful cordless or handheld mixer I have ever used. Made easy work of mashed potatoes!

Excellent Hand Mixer
I really like this hand mixer. One of the first things that I wanted to make sure is that it had several different settings and started out with a low speed as to not throw flour and sugar everywhere around my kitchen. This mixer does the trick, and I am so satisfied with it, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys baking with less cleanup.

Great mixer with built in storage! No more looking for attachments
Needed a new mixer as my the beaters wouldn't stay in my old one. Love the ability to store the attachments with the mixer so no more hunting around to find the attachments! Works really well on mashed potatoes and whipping cream (which is all I have used it for so far) It was a little more pricey than other brands but I think it was worth it as the beaters are substantial and thick so it works far better than my old one.

Batedeira de potencia fraca
Batedeira hamilton beach, Muito bonita, potencia fraca. Tenho outra de fabricação brasileira bem inferior e com uma potência absurda.

NOT GOOD
I was really looking forwards to this new mixer. But, I did not get to use it until after the return date. Otherwise I would not have it. I really do like the variable speed features. I love the rubber coated mixers. What I DO NOT LIKE AT ALL is the cord and the balance of the machine. The cord does not lock out of place. Even if I turn it all the way over in one direction, the cord is still jutting out at the end and will not stand up. It is very top heavy even with no batter or food in the blades. I have to leave it sitting on the side of the bowl which makes it difficult to add ingredients or to scrape the bowl with a spatula. For this reason only…. I would not purchase this mixer as I feel it is a very bad design. I wish I could have returned it. The thrift shop may find it on their shelf.
