Leave your existing curtains hanging and go behind them to clip on the liners!
I loved my curtains in my guest room but the sun was waking our visitors too early! These black out liners provided a great solution at a reasonable cost! Installation was easy peasy once I figured out NOT to remove the current curtains! There is no smell to these liners, the color is white and not obtrusive through my sheer curtains! They solved my problem 100%!

Works great!
These black-out liners work great. They are a little challenging to iron out all of the wrinkles, but I used a heavy dosing of water spray to dampen them and the iron on high heat. I also pinned the corners of the liners to the corners of the curtains so they would hang aligned with the curtains.

Lifesavors!
I found the most amazing curtains for my nursery on Anthropologie, however they weren't room darkening and all my friends said that was a must. These blackout liners brought it all together for me and i'm so grateful this product exists. I love my Anthropolgie curtains, and the blackout feature on these works amazing! Super easy to install, great quality and totally worth the price in my opinion! In my picture I have the blackout liner on the left side, but not on the right side so you can see the difference!

Great at blocking light
These are great liners. My curtains were already lined, but the light came through anyway. I added these liners (see picture - left curtain is with the liner, right curtain is without) and they blocked the light, except for around the top and sides, but still a 95% improvement. The hooks were good quality and I didn’t have any issues with them breaking while trying to open them. There were also 2 extras in the bag. I used 2 hooks between each curtain grommet and it worked out perfect. Very happy, thanks!

Work as advertised
I purchased bamboo window panels from Amazon, also a great buy. They let filtered light through, as well as heat and cold. I bought these liners just as the summer heat arrived. They work great, both as a black out curtain and as a thermal barrier. I am assuming that they will work just as effectively against cold. The fabric is flexible and hangs well. They arrived a little wrinkled, but the wrinkles hung out in a couple of days. There was a very slight odor when they arrived. I hung them out on the clothes line for a couple of hours and the odor dissipated 100%. They are heavy, but I installed 1.5" window hardware from Restoration Hardware and there seems to be no problem. Extra rings were included with the purchase. Some were a stiff, but I had no problem opening any. The ends of the panels droop a little, but that is easily solved by using an adhesive Velcro dot to attach them to the panels. I am ordering 4 more sets for all the bamboo panels I have installed. Size is as stated. Very pleased with this product.

Better than expected
Was searching for new curtains but needed room darkening because of grave yard shift. Came across these at the last moment and took a chance. Very pleased with weight and quality of product. Very easy install. Didn't need a second rod and the rings are hidden behind the decorative curtain. Used to have to put a blanket on top of old curtains to block out sunlight from seeping thru the top. Now it's just this and darkens the room perfectly.

Easy to Install, Good Product
We are very happy with the material, weight, length and also the ring spacing of these panels. They seem to be making a nice thermal difference already; we installed them in the south-facing Las Vegas sliding glass door of our balcony, which gets absolutely blasted by direct sun/heat almost every day. My wife washed them carefully beforehand, using gentle wash cycle, and dried them on the delicate setting until they were no longer dripping. She then she hung them (still slightly damp) overnight to complete the drying process. No chemical smell (before or after washing), and they are white on one side and very slightly grey on the other. We hung them with the white side facing the outside world. We overlapped the panels by two rings each, to eliminate any gapping. We used a total of four each of these 50x80 panels for what you see in the picture; that worked perfectly to back the existing six each 40x84 blackout curtain panels that they are now protecting. (We had also overlapped the six curtain panels, but by four rings each.) The sliding glass door itself is approximately 95" wide total inside the frame. These panels are easy to install, especially because you do not have to take down your existing curtains during the process.Anyways....hopefully these will last us for a few summers at least; I'll check the condition of them in a couple of years and replace them as necessary, depending on how badly the sun beats them up...which it will. So far so good, though!

Inexpensive and effective
Prior to installing these behind my ikea curtains, it was so bright each morning that it was impossible to sleep past 6am. These curtain liners don’t block out 100% of the light, but I think that is due to the way that I’ve hung them. I left spaces in the center so they wouldn’t be visible when the curtains are open. I honestly prefer it better like this—it’s dark enough to sleep in or take mid-day nap but it let’s in enough light to know when it’s morning. They do add quite a bit of bulk to the look of my curtains, but they’re effective so I can live with this. They seem to help with temperature control as well which is a nice bonus. They were a bit longer than my actual curtains, but I just cut them with scissors and they seem to be holding up well. For the price these are great!

I wish they could be ironed; perhaps once they are hanging for a time they will become wrinkle free.
I am using them in our solarium under curtains that were in there last year. At 30 below during the winter it gets pretty damn cold in there, even with the plastic on the winter glazed windows, the siliconing, the carpets on the floor over the freezing workshop below. The room is only a solarium glass encased room with an oil heater on in the winter and this year I am experimenting with an SF Farmer 2000 grow light for more veggies, but I think it does not generate the BTUs as I had hoped for the heat. The peppers did very well in there last winter without the lights (we get a lot of sun)...wait a minute...you know what...I think I have digressed...sorry. I'm sure your liners will improve the environment of the solarium just as the extra siliconing has, the ceiling tiles, plastic on the windows and every new thing we add each year.thank you.

True blackout.
Quality product, zero light comes through the blind, easy to hang behind your curtains on the same rod or if you prefer a second rod. Package arrived with 2 extra rings as described. Size is as described. Arrived in the package quite wrinkled (not just where folded) but doesn’t bother me cuz I can see it from inside the home.

Very happy
These blackout liners are great. They came with rings to secure to the curtain rod, and seem to block quite a bit of heat, as well as light. One side is pure white, the other is slightly beige. They add quite a bit of weight, but not enough to make a 19mm, 3/4" curtain rod bend over a 1.8m/6' span.Worthwhile buying if your room gets direct sunlight!

Looks like they'll do the job.
The liners arrived on time and appear to be good quality. They're not yet up (require help for that) and will be happy to review properly at a later date once they're installed against a north-facing glass patio door.

Used behind curtains for privacy
The tabs don't seem to line up behind other curtains so I just pinned the odd one to the curtain infront which worked. The ad says no chemical smell but they have a very strong chemical smell. Soaked and washed twice. Hard to get all wrinkles out if that concerns you. They work for my needs behind other curtains for privacy. They are thick and heavy.
