I used it for the first time very recently, I was able to get her back on her feet in just a couple of minutes. Far easier than the previous approach of having to call in an ambulance to have medical staff help out. The Elk itself is very easy to setup, pretty idiot proof in fact :) Definitly glad I found it as a hoist is too big to use in tight quarters, and those step things, mum has no upper body strengh so that wouldn't work.
