I purchased this to work with my rockbros helmet that came with a dark tinted lens. It fits perfectly and I'm very happy with the clear lens especially for riding at night. I particularly like how the two side still points have a little bit of play so they can adapt exactly to your helmet.

Picked this up in hopes it would work for a prop helmet making project. Turned out perfect as you can see. This helmet was loosely based off of an X wing helmet if you can see the inspiration. I didn’t feel like handcrafting the whole visor after all the work that went into everything else so I opted to see if buying a motorcycle visor would suffice. Well, it worked out great. I modified a basic common helmet template to make the shape I needed and made two one being 100% and one shrunk to 90% scale and this visor fit between them perfectly. Didn’t even need to put glue on the visor, I just epoxied the foam that touched together under it and it was enough to hold the visor in place snuggly. I’m really happy with how it worked out in this project. I know this isn’t exactly their intended use but it was my use. I can see out of them during the day and at night. They’re a nice tint.

After doing a lot of research, I bought this visor along with a helmet from Shinmax and Basecamp. Mainly to see which helmet I like better but this visor ONLY fits the Shinmax helmet labeled as BC-001. It will not fit a Basecamp helmet. Frankly I have not even unwrapped the yellow low light visor yet. I have been using the dark tinted visor that came with the helmet. The entire package performs exceptionally though my buddy jokes that I look like Antman from Marvel comics. I do plan to use the the yellow low light visor on a 40 mile night ride on a local trail system. I will not be using lights as the trail is closed from dusk to dawn and I do not wish to attract unwanted attention. But I figure a moonlit night with this visor will give me all I need.

Love my Shinmax helmet but the polarized visor that it comes with creates dangerous conditions when used at night. I ride an ebike and nothing hurts worse than an insect on your eyeball at 25mph.
