EXCELLENT source of information on the 1911!
Amazing books, I've been working on 1911s for 30 years and I was amazed at how much I learned from these books! Great drawings and detailed information on inspecting, repairing and modifying the 1911. Well worth the money if you work on these.

Deep, deep, deeeeeeeeeep details
Books are amazing and deep details. They are not "I have experienced this issue, how do I fix," but more of how the mechanism operates and what dimensions the interfaces are designed to. They are amazing books and definitely are a slow read to absorb all the information. You will definitely understand how the components fit and function together. Extremely happy with the purchase.

A 1911 must have
If you own a 1911, shoot a 1911 or work on a 1911, these books are the best tool you can own. If your new to the 1911 Volume one will tell you everything you need to know to care for your new gun and fine tune it. Couple it with Volume two and you can build a 1911 from parts. The measured drawings are of great value.

Good resource for 1911 smithing
Haven't gone through much of the books yet but there is a ton of smithing information in them, plus how to do custom work. Should be a great resource.
