Exactly what I was looking for! And was a great price!

This came with a serious warning sign that this product has been known to cause cancer and birth defects stay away from this product was a complete waste of money

I use this as a drench, twice a year, on my potato beds. No scab!!

I was reading about blackstrap molasses and learned the unsulfured type was made from ripe sugar cane and didn’t need sulfur dioxide to keep it fresh while it ripens. It stabilizes blood sugar and can help with joint pain. It tastes wonderful in tea. It’s not very sweet (by the teaspoonful) so I add a half packet of Truvia as a sweetener. It gives tea a slightly caramel taste. It has made a difference in my blood sugar readings recently. Also, it’s nice to have on hand if you have any recipes that call for molasses. Highly recommend it.

Most blackstrap molasses is quite bitter, but this Golden Barrel is the notable exception. It is really thick and moderately sweet with none of the usual blackstrap bitterness.I used to buy it locally for "almost nothing" in terms of cost. There is no place locally where I can get it and I was pleased to find it on Amazon, even at a more than double what I used to pay. It is still good value for the money.I noticed in a lot of reviews that people were freaked about that California warning on the label. Check the labels on everything: With the rules in CA being what they are, there is almost nothing that does not have that a CA warning it it anymore. If you won't use anything at all with a CA warning, you better get rid of your cell phone right away. That's my opinion on the CA warning label. It may differ from your opinion.
