Foodie Fight: A Trivia Game With Gameboard and Cards Game – September 6, 2007

Just played it with my dad. It’s a lot of fun and very informative

It took longer to play a full game than I anticipated because some of the questions are very challenging. The great part is learning about the things I don't know, many of which are really interesting. Having the different categories points your stronger areas of knowledge as well as where you need work.The only criticism is that when it is near the end of the game and you have most of your categoies full, you're supposed to answer the question even though you don't need the marker. We decided not to, or we may have been up all night.Really fun and different!

This is a pretty fun game. I am used to playing trivia games that require a board and pieces. It's a nice change nice to just have a die to roll, determining what question you're asked. The game comes in a small box and is easily stored. The only complaints I have are that there aren't really that many cards in the box. So after awhile, you'll have to buy the second version of the game. Also, some of the questions really are obscure. It definitely ranges from novice to expert. But I do have to say that the expert questions, while being very difficult for some, are interesting and informational. I recommend the game, especially for the cost.

It's a fun food trivia game. You have 6 categories and you need 3 correct answers for each category. You roll a die to determine which category you get questioned on so it helps even the odds if someone's especially knowledgeable. I bought it for my boyfriend and I to play and it's a great 2 person game. We both struggle to know the answers to the questions about important food figureheads in history but its trivia so it's not like it's supposed to be common knowledge anyway. We did however also manage to go through the entire deck in 2 rounds. So we dont replay often since we need time for the answers to not be so fresh.

I saw the reviews and thought - wow, this would be great for the next get together...My family and I tried it out and was surprised by how much we enjoyed it. The only drawback is that the Q&A cards have the answers on the back of the card so when you are reading the questions, unless you cover the back - the answers are pretty much there. We had to use the extra card to cover up the answers.

I gave this game as a gift and was worried that it would be another one of those trivia games with either really easy questions or really hard ones. It was neither. The questions were legitimate. I mean, they had some really easy ones and some harder ones to challenge you to think and learn. We ended up not using the game pieces and just reading question after question to each other. It was fun. There were about the same number of questions that you would get in one reading box from Trivial Pursuit. I'd definitely recommend this game. It's ended up being a hit!

My fiancé is a food lover and he has a real passion for cooking. He loves this game. Not only is it fun to pay with fellow foodie friends but he reads the cards casually (and quizzes me!). the game itself is great, good quality, nice compact storage box. This was he perfect gift for the food lover in my life.

Fun, educational, and easy to play. This game will not disappoint. Learn cooking techniques as you go. Even if you don't like to cook, you will have fun and learn new things playing this. Easy to understand and follow.

I was a little concerned that my family and I wouldn't have enough "food knowledge" to really play this game (and I'd have to wait for a group of women to really use it), but there's usually a question and somebody will know the answer to. It's simple, portable and fun. What more could you want?
