Great story and art. But why are so many of my books being delivered damaged? If it was $15 it wouldn't be that big of a deal, But these Deluxe editions are expensive.

I've already read the Manga; but I wanted to own it physically and also to the support the studio which is still working on it (rest in peace Kentaro Miura). The Berserk Deluxe Volume 2 contains Volumes 4-6, which is a portion of the Golden Age arc, often considered one of the best arcs in the series.If you're curious about checking out Berserk, I'd recommend the Berserk Deluxe series of books, as it's a pretty good value. I'll admit, if your tastes are anything like mine -- you might not like the Black Swordsman arc, at first (which is contained in Berserk Deluxe Volume 1).As for how the product was packaged, I have no complaints. It was nicely packed inside of a box, and it seemed to have no nicks on it, and no imperfections from the transit. Was still contained within the plastic wrap, which itself, was also in good condition!

I've been slowly collecting these for my husband who is a big Berserk Fan. The book came wrapped and in perfect condition!

getting the deluxe rather than the small paper backs i think is the way to go as it is just higher quality, from the hard cover to the drawn art, at the same time having bigger pages. you don't miss anything to because you still get the original art on the last pages. the story is still good along with the first one and tells more than the shows do.
