After my skin survived adolescence and soared through its 20s, I was diagnosed with adult acne at 31. For a couple of years, taking spironolactone was enough to keep my acne at bay. I am now 35. About six months ago, my chin, jawbone, and neck broke out with the deep, painful acne cysts. One of my friends introduced me to Cor Silver Soap. This stuff is incredible. Not only is my skin clearing up, but it is looking younger and more vibrant than it has in a long time. I am now a Cor Soap LIFER.About the product: I started with the sample size. Now, I buy the 1.05 oz because it comes in a box (makes it easy for traveling), and the top of the box is made for you to set the soap on top of it after washing in order to let it dry out with little waste. The first couple of months, I would simply apply the soap and then wash it off. It is worth the cost because it lasts a long time.The BEST application for the soap: Lather and let it sit for 10 minutes(ish), and then rinse. Use 1x per day.

I recently bought this soap based on reviewers comments and have been blown away by the results. I'm a 48 yr old woman with a youthful appearance (blessed with good genes and oily skin :) that has quite unexpectedly and recently experienced a breakout on my face, shoulders and upper back area (I never get acne on my back or shoulders). I've tried everything to clear the breakout including many high end products without any success. Desperate, I kept looking for a new wonder product and stumbled across this soap. I've been using the soap on my face and back for three days and the difference is unbelievable. I do have discoloration left but it's only been 3 days and I have not gotten one new blemish and the discoloration is fading incredibly fast. I have suffered from mild cystic acne for about 8 years during my cycle and a cyst I had acquired last month has almost completely disappeared. The cyst had reduced in size but it had definitely been hanging on.I do hope I'm not writing this review too soon but I couldn't help myself, I'm so excited and relieved to see my acne improve this drastically and in this amount of time. I have spent so much for very little results, this soap is worth every penny!

I have naturally fickle skin, with breakouts. I decided to give this a try because it claimed to aid in healing and stopping breakouts, but it also claims to not leave your skin feeling dry. I purchased two .35 oz soaps to try out. For the first couple of days I used this morning and night with no trouble. It left my pores visibly smaller after use. Also, my face my more luminous. However, it did leave my skin dry and I had to use a moisturizer quickly afterwords or else my skin would have started to peel from the dryness! I had not had this issue before...after about four days of using this the pain began. A few seconds after applying the lather onto my face and neck it would burn. By burn, I mean it felt like I had just rubbed acid onto my skin. Yes, it was that bad...I thought that maybe this was just because the soap with making blood rush into my skin so I kept using it for about a week afterwords. Big mistake. My skin was left red, damaged, dry and in loads of pain like I had burnt it. Some days were worse then others. The pain became even worse when I was washing it with cool water from my face. I had to run cold water across it to relive the intense burning. I could not leave it on for more then a few seconds. It burnt my active breakouts especially bad, but my whole face and neck was in some serious agony. I should have stopped using the soap as soon as the burning came along, but I was thinking that maybe my skin was just getting used to it because no other product had made my face burn like this one. Finally, I gave up and stopped using it. It took my about a week of noxzema to recover from the damage. I'm not allergic to anything, and I wouldn't say that I have necessarily sensitive skin so I have little clue as to what cause the pain. Either way, I know for sure that I will never touch this stuff again! Haha. I decided to give it *** because it did reduce my pore size, but those results quickly vanished once I stopped using it. Ouch!

I love this soap and will purchase again. I purchased the 1.05 oz just to try after seeing it on the Today Show. I have an auto immune disease that attacks the skin and muscle and wanted to try something to calm the redness on my face. Last night we went out for dinner with relatives and I was told your skin looks so good. Which I haven't heard in a long time. People always thought I was sunbathing because of the redness on my face. It felt so good to hear this compliment after battling this disease for two years.This soap is mild, soothing and after two months I see a difference already. The small size has lasted longer than I anticipated and will probably last four months. So really $10.00 a month isn't bad for a product that you see positive results from. I use it at night before I go do bed. It takes off my makeup without stinging my eyes. All I can say is this is a great product and you won't be sorry you splurged on it. Just look at all the positive reviews and you won't be sorry.

I have been suffering from adolescent (now adult) acne for several years and have tried just about every product under the sun with very limited success. Cor Silver Soap works pretty well, at least better than any other over-the-counter acne treatment I have tried. I don't think it is strong enough to tackle severe acne, as I still use 10% benzoyl peroxide wash on trouble areas other than my face. The 10% BP wash works better than Cor, so I just stick to using Cor on my face and the 10% BP wash whenever I break out elsewhere.Great product but not perfect. If you don't mind spending the money, it'll probably be effective for most people.
