Maravilloso final!

Boundless was everything I needed it to be.I was a little unsure and worried about where this book would go after Hallowed but I ended up loving it.If you’re a fan of Tucker then you’ll definitely want to read this book.

GREAT ending to this series, regardless if you are Team Tucker or Team Christian!
***ARC received by Harper Teen in exchange for review***"He loves you. Not because of me. Or because God told him to. Because of you."It's pretty much impossible to write a review of this without spoiling anything. (Don't worry, I find a way) I've made it very clear in the past my love for Tucker and my intense feelings of hate towards Christian. So if I say: "OMG, I loved this book!" You will probably assume that I loved it because she ends up with Tucker. Or if I say: "I freaking HATED this book!" You will probably assume I hate it because she ends up with Christian. Or because Tucker dies. But what if I said that after reading Boundless, I no longer hate Christian? Or if I say that I loved the ending because she ended up with the person she belonged with, even if I agree with it or not. Both of these statements are true. Believe me; no one is more shocked than I am that Cynthia Hand made it possible for me to stop hating Christian so much (Because I did hate him. So much) But she somehow accomplished it beautifully.I had a love/hate relationship with this book. Some parts I loved so much...and other parts I hated. Not because it was bad, because the whole book was beautiful, but because I was frustrated with some of the events. What I hated the most was how very little of Tucker we get to see. But, the parts we do see of him are amazing. It was very frustrating to me to have to sit through and read all the parts about Clara and Christian and their damn purposes and their visions. Especially when all I wanted for Christian to go away and for Tucker to come back. I felt a total case of déjà vu of when I was reading New Moon and I just wanted to skip all the Jacob parts and get to Edward and tell Jacob "She still loves Edward! Go away!" But then, a weird thing started happening and all of a sudden Christian wasn't bothering me so much and I started thinking maybe he was a good person after all. Maybe he really loves Clara and they really do belong together. But then Cynthia Hand would give me one little glimpse of Tucker and I was a goner. So, after reading Boundless am I still Team Tucker? Or did I cross over to the dark side and am I now Team Christian? Well, I'm not going to tell you because it would probably giveaway the ending. But I guess you can say that I am Team Clara. The book ended like it should have no matter who she ended up with. This book drained me! It left me emotionally drained, speechless and a total sobbing mess. I swear my heart stopped several times and I may have screamed: "WHAT!!!!???" and "OMGOMGOMGOMG" more times than I can count. Cynthia Hand did a brilliant job which this ending. This is the end of a series so they may have been a few people that don't make it to the end. There are also so many moments that completely shocked me and I never saw coming. I've never seen such a divide between teams and I think it's safe to say that it doesn't matter if you are Team Tucker or Team Christian or a little bit undecided, you will still love the ending to this amazing, captivating and epic series. The Unearthly series will always be one of my favorite series and I am eagerly anticipating what stories Cynthia Hand has for us next. And just because I am curious (and maybe just a little bit mean) I want to know if any of you actually clicked the spoiler link...5 out of 5 stars!(Even though the ending frustrated and shocked me)Some of my favorite non-spoiler quotes from Boundless:-"Don't do what?""I know you're mad at me, and I understand why you would be, I get it, I do, but you don't have to be like that. You're like the kindest, sweetest, most decent guy that I know. Don't be a jerk because of me."-There's always this moment at the end of our times hanging out together, as we're saying good-bye, when I know he wants to ask me out again. To try again. To woo me. Because he thinks that's part of his purpose. But he's decided to let me make the first move, this time. The ball's in my court.-" I should have fought for you, Clara, even if I would have had to fight you to fight for you. I should have never let you go."-His lips brush mine for an instant, and an emotion like victory tears though him, but then he pulls away and glances toward the front door. Groans.Christian is standing in the doorway.-I hang on to him for dear life, kissing him like the world's about to end, and I guess in a way it is. I kiss him like I probably should be embarrassed to do it in a place like heaven, which feels like church, a place where God is looking at you, but I don't stop. I give him my whole heart through my lips. I love him. I open up my mind and show him how much I love him.(Is this a Christian or Tucker quote? You'll have to wait and find out when you read the book)*** of my reviews at:Nereyda @Mostly YA Book Obsessed Read more

Boundless by Cynthia Hand
After reading Hallowed last year I was desperate to get around to reading Boundless but I just couldn't find the time. So when I finally got around to buying it last month I just decided to read it because I really wanted to know how this trilogy was going to end. Boundless didn't disappoint. It was definitely my favourite book of the trilogy. There were so many twists, so many things to uncover and I was hooked from the second I picked it up.In Boundless, we see Clara, Angela and Christian heading off to college. They all head off to Stanford College because that's where Angela's vision takes place and she wants her friends to be with her.Clara went through a hell of a lot in Hallowed and she's trying to deal with everything now. She seems to be dealing well with what happened - but obviously she's still upset. She's definitely a lot stronger in this book. She's got a lot resting on her shoulders and I loved Clara even more in this one.Christian is still one of my favourite guys ever. He's sweet and kind, but he can have his moments when his anger flares up and it's generally due to Clara. I learnt a lot more about Christian in this one and there were moments when my heart broke for him.Angela is still as awesome as ever. She's keeping something from her friends in this one and it took a while for me to figure out what it was and I was completely shocked when I found out. Her whole character changed in this one, but there was a reason for it and I loved the change in Angela.Even though Clara moved to California to be away from Tucker, he still appears in Boundless quite a lot. Tucker is angry with Clara and acts like a jerk (it's totally justified), but he's still one of the most adorable guys ever. Tucker definitely won me back over in this one (and I didn't even realise until that moment at the end - if you've read it, you know what moment I'm taking about).I honestly didn't think Cynthia Hand was going to be able to make Boundless better than Hallowed, but she did! Everything about this book drew me in and I just couldn't put it down! I had to know what was going to happen with Angela and her vision; what the hell was going on with Jeffrey; what Clara and Christian's vision was all about and who on earth this new evil guy was! Cynthia Hand completely surpassed my expectations with this book and it was a brilliant end to this trilogy. The love triangle in this series is one that's constantly had me going back and forth. I love both Tucker and Christian, but there were times when I loved one or the other more depending on the situation. In the end, I was happy with how the love triangle turned out. Mostly because there was a specific event that almost crushed me and it was that moment that I knew which boy had won my heart. So I was definitely happy with how it worked out, but I just wish everyone could have had their happy ending.Overall, Boundless was a terrific ending to the Unearthly trilogy. I'm really sad to let all of these characters go because I love them all, but I know that this is definitely a series that I'll be getting around to re-reading one day because I absolutely loved it.
