Smart design
Very smart design. I use it as home security camera , it just looks like a normal charger but actually it is a camera. it is easy to set up and Connect. I like that it is really small , I can hide it anywhere. The recorded video and picture are clear , great quality for monitoring. I also bought a SD flash card to extend the capacity of recording.

Good For Infrequent Access
The camera has good low light capability, and the images are good enough to easily recognize faces without creating huge files. The motion detection seems to work well, and the older files are overwritten when the memory card fills up. Unfortunately, the field of view is very narrow. If the camera is plugged horizontally into a wall outlet, it's unlikely to capture the face of an adult not standing halfway across the room from it. Also, the front cover is held on by four thin plastic posts, which I fear will break off if the cover is regularly removed to change the memory card. However, if you don't intend to regularly inspect the videos, the cover should be fine. The device seems to work as a USB charger, but when I tried it, it seemed to cause an error with the video recording. The device I was powering may have been drawing too much power, but I suspect that I'll have to use one function at a time (video or charging). As I only intend to used the cameras for backups to my main security system, and because I'm unlikely to remove the memory cards (and front cover) except in the event of a burglary, the cameras should work well for me.
