I tried is in paper and did not cause a fire. Great for candles and maybe cigarettes… great conversation piece. Super cool how it works and the fact that is reausable.

This does emit a high pitched noise that my cats don't like, however, I can't give this less than 5 stars. The length of it makes it super easy to light candles and it's much more affordable than continuing to buy gas as we were to refill our Zippo style lighters. A charge usually lasts us about a month of almost nightly candle lighting. We've had it for several months now with no issues.

Third time ordering 2 at a time. Gifts, people admiring this new way that is much safer than flames. USB charger could benefit from a longer cord, but that is a minor concern. Indicator lights re: charge. Pretty blue color in addition to the gold. Will probably need to order again.

Having a difficult time lighting jar candles. I’m either doing it wrong or the “arc” isn’t big enough? Or maybe I shouldn’t have ordered this at all? Might be easier to just use old school butane refillable.

Bought this for jar candles. Works great for them.

A bit too large to fit through my BBQ grate, which means I have to lift the grate to use it. Works, though.
