Brought to you by Qcove Marketing, the latest evolution in trolling gear is Jim's Break-A-Way Flasher. In stead of fighting the flasher you can fight the fish and feel every movement on your line. The flasher disconnects from the line at one end when a fish strikes, eliminating flasher drag. You will hardly notice that the flasher is there; no more distraction from the fishing experience. Review: was disappointed from the start - Ok, was disappointed from the start. Thought it was an 11" flasher, its not, 8" which is a little pointless to have a breakaway system given it's size. Review: pleased with my - Very fast, pleased with my order

Great improvement .
Great improvement . Can really feel and fight the fish not the flasher. Need to be careful to insert breakaway pin loosely and maybe smear with a little bit of smelly jelly so flasher disingages when fish strikes.

Much better then standard flashers and definitely less resistance when fighting ...
I have used them for years fishing Puget Sound for Salmon. Much better then standard flashers and definitely less resistance when fighting a fish. These are all I use and have several w/various colors. Only negative is salt can erode the hardware and finding replacement hardware is difficult. I try to wash mine down good after use but the hardware tends to only last about a year. Around $5 for replacements when you find them.
