If you’re thinking about the Orange Crush Mini, just buy it!
The Orange Crush Mini is a Real Deal Orange amp, and not just some novelty (though it’s priced like a novelty). Yes, it’s portable, it’s also very durable too. Heavy construction. Surprisingly good sound, especially for a mini amp, much more powerful than most other micro amps. The two real surprising features on this are the built-in tuner, as well as the Cab Out to allow you to use this mini amp to power a speaker cabinet (like that 4x12 that could use a low watt amp to let you crank the amp to max and not blow your ears out at home).

Tiny little monster
This little thing is awesome it freakin rocks yoI mean for what it is it’s got it. Got a full soundQuality of it insane the clean tones are where this thing shines really at all volumes the built in gain is really nice to but only bout half volume it starts washing out but I was kinda expecting it to do that but the tone and cleans are clean hahaaa.... now if you got a little ppc108 cab or somethin you can crank that gain all the way up and let her scream lol... again somewhat hahaaBut being just a 9v battery blew my mind way way better then I expected. The built in tuner also awesome EADGB and F C does sharps but not flatsFar as batter life idk prob got a few hrs on it maybe still ok most have been at half or lower volumes but I Idk if that effects that or not. Hahaha love I just like how cool and small it is really and that it works. I need 3more at least hhahaa I mean you can sit these things anywhere

Deceptively good.
I originally tried to buy a completely different amp, but there was a mixup with the order so I got this as a cheap temporary solution I just needed SOMETHING to plug the guitar into for a little while. With that said, I certainly wasn't expecting anything spectacular, I knew what I was buying after watching many reviews on YouTube. For what it's worth, I'm using the Ibanez GRX70QA with Infinity R/Infinity RS pickups.First off, the build quality seemed pretty decent for the price. Solid enclosure with metal back and top, no play in the jacks, nothing really stands out in terms of glaring flaws. It even included a 9V battery already installed! As a 3W battery powered amp with a 4" driver, it's not supposed to be loud nor does it get that loud. This is not a 10W combo with an 8" driver, it's a tiny practice amp that fits on the desktop (or in a backpack). It can be surprising for the size, but don't expect miracles where volume is concerned. It may be hard to get a clean sound with a useful volume since the power amp starts to sound distorted pretty early, but it's not impossible. It's a balancing act to adjust the gain, amp volume and guitar volume. With the gain set to zero, there is no sound at all.For my guitar it seems best to keep the gain at or below 2 o'clock, amp volume below noon (preferably 9 o'clock or less), guitar volume to suit but generally quite low to avoid early breakup when it's not desired. With these settings, cranking the guitar volume will give some good crunch, while rolling it back to almost off will go clean without getting too quiet.I knew the speaker wasn't going to sound so great, it's only a 4" driver in a tiny box. It's not supposed to sound great, but it does seem to distort rather quickly. Playing with high gain is just a complete disaster of noise, and with a clean(ish) tone it's rather quiet by comparison and oddly colored. The spectral balance is dramatically different from what is heard in headphones. Overall I find the speaker to be undesirable, but not entirely useless.I find it much easier to just use headphones instead since the volume will be much better, and the sound will be more balanced. This also makes it easier to avoid distortion from the power amp when trying to get a good clean tone at reasonable volume. Playing with high gain sounds better in headphones, but due to my hearing loss I'm unable to elaborate or even provide a more objective statement in this regard.I do feel this amp has great potential when paired with an external speaker or a DI attenuator, but I am unable to test it myself at this time. Just be mindful of the low headroom, it is only three watts. I have not tested it with an external power supply yet, but would highly recommend it since this amp will eat batteries for breakfast. The tuner is half the reason I bought this little amp specifically, the other half is price and the fact that it's an Orange amp. With a fresh battery installed, the tuner responds immediately to a plucked string and changes the lights accordingly. I cannot speak for accuracy as I've no other tuner to compare it with, but it works and is quite convenient. As the battery drains however, you may find that the tuner takes longer to do its thing and can be slow to respond when changing strings. At worst it might even stop responding altogether, and the sound of the amp will also seem to change, becoming kind of fizzy and spitty even when set up for a clean tone. This is caused by improper bias of the electronics due to the lower voltage and may be mistaken for early distortion or even the amp going bad. When/if it gets to this point just change the battery and all should be well again. In conclusion, I would strongly advise looking to YouTube for some demos of this amp since not everyone likes the Orange sound. If you can accept the bad speaker and low power for what it is, then this could be a great little practice amp with either headphones or an external speaker, but don't rely solely on batteries! Get a 9V power supply rated for 500mA. For the low price, small size and included tuner, I can't complain too much.

Love it!
This is a great portable mini amp! I was just going off of reviews and moveabilty, I have not been disappointed. Im just learning guitar and try to take it with me to practice and this is the perfect option. It works well and easy. It give some really great sound. It is so nice that it has also been taken hostage a few times from actual musicians who plug it up to their larger amps for the good effects. Definitely a great buy.

So small... so much tone
This little battery-powered amp is just plain fun. I'm not much of an acoustic player, so when I was camping with some buddies and they all brought their acoustics out, I pulled out this little gem and hooked up my PV60 and got the nicest, warmest tones to complement their chords. At first I was surprised that it took a 9V battery -- these days, so many portable audio devices use USB to recharge -- but that's minor, and one could argue that in a remote environment, it's easier to pop in another 9V than to find a charger. It has a nice, solid feel, heavy enough to not topple over with a 1/4 plug inserted, and looks a lot like its big brothers. The built-in tuner is a handy touch.Really happy with this little amp -- there are times when hauling a Twin Reverb around just isn't practical...

I know the product is decent from past use, but this experience was just a nightmare...
I've used one of these before as they're easy and compact for simple things. I finally decided to order one on my own to practice with. The box it came in from Amazon unfortunately had a damaged product that leaked all over the outside of the box. That's fine as long as the actual product isn't damaged, whatever right? So I take the product out to inspect and notice it's covered in scratch marks on the back plate and there's dirt and residue all over the thing, especially around the knobs and indicators. It's clearly been used, returned, and resold. When I contacted Amazon about it, they told me it had to be returned to get a refund and refused a replacement. I also live somewhere without public transport and do not have a car so spending $40-60 on Ubers to drop the thing off for return just isn't possible. They offered a pick up option but I had to pay for it as well which is ridiculous given that it was Amazon's mistake. Said whatever, it's just gonna need a cleaning right? Well, got it cleaned up and powered up. Except it doesn't even work. No lights work, no sound comes out, nothing. So it's just unusable and I'm out the $86 because of Amazon's mistake. Cool. I guess buy at your own discretion, but I wish I would've waited so I could go to an actual store. Lesson learned.

This thing is nice!
So, I needed an amp to plug my test guitars into when I'm building. I hated having to set up my amp and everything. I wanted simple. I use to have a VOX Pathfinder. But that was total crap. Terrible amp.So, being that I'm playing orange, I figured I would try the practice amp. This thing was way too cool. I loved it. It's not gonna knock your sox off, but it'll give you good vibes.I haven't plugged it in yet. Just running it with the battery. But that's how I wanted it. No cords. I even have a wireless system to plug between the amp and the guitar. So this thing comes in handy allot.Remember, it's not a 100Watt stack. You can think of it as a Orange pedal plugged into a small speacker. Because that's generally what it is LOL.Keep playing. The world needs it!!

Love it! Mini AMP Big sound! its great! Pair with a Donner mini Fuzz blue.
This is great! such a fun little amp! big sounds for how small it is, its cute, it runs on a battery. I put it in my living room on the wall by my guitar so if i get an ich to noddle i just plug it in and i am ready to rock. very fun. I pair mine with a donner mini fuzz blue pedle, great sound for what it is. so cool birthday gift for a guitar player .
