Softshell comfort with the fuctionality equal to a Nylon shell jacket. Perfect for hardcore mountaineering or everyday use. Integrated dual adjustable swivel hood won't block your peripheral view. Seamless shoulders allow for comfortable long term use of a pack while high reach sleeves help keep the jacket in place when manuvering around the mountain.

Different fit from 66 North
I own a STOMUR JACKET (Med) and the GLYMUR JACKET (Large) but this jacket has a totally diff fit. While my Med STOMUR has a loose trunk but tight/short sleeves and my Lg GLYMUR has a very athletic fit (tight arms, slightly longer sleeves tight trunk and very tight neck. I couldn't fit into a Med) this one has a slightly loose fit (compared to 66 North and most other Euro style clothes I've worn), maybe this is the "New Sizing" they are referring too on their site? I would say it fits like a hooded sweatshirt. This jacket fits my extremely long torso and leaves room for layers, the sleeves are a good length and loose enough for a heavy layer underneath, the neck is perfect with an improved zipper guard (compared to other 66 tops I've worn that rubbed me the wrong way) but can still be improved, the hood is nice and adjustable (with or without a small helmet). I love the breathability and water repellent properties of this jacket! Having writing that though, I wish it had a more athletic fit because this would work better for me as a high performance gear and I prefer my high performance gear to wear snug. I love the flexibility of the material, my movement is not hampered in any way. This jacket has only two pockets.I would say that unless you are really overweight you would be able to wear this jacket while the other 66 North jackets are off limits to everyone but the slim body types. To give you a reference, I am 5' 11" and 165 lbs. My Med fits/looks just like it does on the model shown above.

Four Stars
Great jacket but WAY too small. Going back.

Awesome Powershield Pro "jacket" (with caveats)
I first look to the stitching or welds on any technical piece I buy and this was first-rate all the way. All seams are flat-stitch. Hefty velcro closures at the wrist. Nice adjustable hood. I own a lot of 66 North and this is the best quality I've seen from the company. I am 6'2" and 225lbs at ~11BF%. I am a 46-47" chest and this is too tight (size XL) in the chest for anything but a compression tee or Capilene 1 underneath. I just bought the XXL for use as a true jacket with room to layer some Merino. Really a great looking piece and perfect construction. I would think it's easily worth $250-$300 and is on par with my Arc-teryx gear. Even better that I got it at $117!For bigger, lean guys (46" chest or less). Buy the XL if you're intent on layering with a thin tee or compression shirt. XXL if you need more room to layer.
