Embalming: History, Theory, and Practice, Fifth Edition 5th Edition

Large letters. Easy to understand

I can pull out my phone in the prep room and search for answers from my Kindle app, or lay in bed and read about what I could do for my cases. I love that. I wish it were an audible book so I could listen to it.

Book came in perfect condition. It repeats a lot of terms and definitions (that helps me but others may find it annoying). I did not get this for a class I got it out of interest. (I am going to be starting an online class soon and wanted some help before hand).The text is large enough for me to read. As for pictures- none. Maybe a few here and there but this is straight up text.Very strong vocab... which makes it hard to read fast. It’s a sit down and pick apart and read text book, might be a little harder for me because I’m not using it while in a class so there is no one to really help me break it down. For someone who has never practiced embalming it seems to cover any questions I could have about it.All and all, it’s a good text. I would buy it again. It breaks down ALOT.

I went to a professional embalmers conference this year and met the author and some of the contributors to chapters in the book. I was able to preview the book prior to purchase. I came away very impressed with the thought process that went into its compilation. This is probably the most complete treatise on the topic of embalming.

I needed it for mortuary school. I used it to study for the board exams. Passed on first attempt. This book definitely helped.

I needed this for class and I am definitely keeping this. It's well written and kind of fun to read.

This book arrived very promptly and packaged well. The 5th Edition has more in depth information while clearly set out. My daughter looks forward to using her new text book for her chosen career. In NZ this text book is required for Diloma in Embalming classes. Good value and very happy with the content.

The book came in decent condition in a timely fashion. It was a required course text that was out of stock at my school. I haven't read much of it, it's for next semester, but was a required corequisite text for a course I'm taking this semester.
