Does your phone automatically connect once you get into the car?

This product need to be connected manually for the first time, then it will automatically connect as long as the Bluetooth on the phone was turned on.

The out going sound on the phone is not very clear. People tell me I sound like talking from a tunnel. Anyone has the same experience?

I had trouble hearing the other person. And she had a hard time hearing me. The only thing I can use this for is for listening to music.

what is the micro usb port on top for? Can it output music I am streaming to my auz port so I can leave the entire unit always plugged into charger?

The micro USB port is the charge port, you should have gotten the charge cord with the unit. You don't need to keep it plugged in but I suppose you could. The charge I think lasts a good 8 hours. Hope that helps.
